there are so many items in this game that counter his ult.
+ lifesteal items.
or simply stacking health.
does qss remove his ult? ive never tested it. but if thats not enough, there are still heal, barrier and champion counters.

Ya know back in the day I used to look through all the new and exciting champions I hadn't bought yet and you wouldn't believe the look on my face when I read Karthus's abilities. An ult that hit all five enemy champions for massive damage? Able to cast spells after death?? How stupidly OP! How could no one be playing this champion?
So I bought him and realized exactly why no one was playing that champion.
