What champion to pick up next?

im choosing between pantheon, cammile, or irelia

only reason im playing toplane is because nobody plays it these days, and you cant (reliably) carry from support.

Uhh depends on your elo and how much time you really wanna spend trying to figure out the champions mechanics. I would say Camille is the hardest out of the 3 (by a long shot) while Irelia requires more matchup knowledge and hitting your skillshots obviously. While Pantheon doesnt really have much going for him.. you just buy corrupt and Q your opponent until you win. If this is your main account (Silver 3 elo) Then I do NOT recommend Irelia or Camille. Pantheon is perfect for this elo. Since he requires so little effort you can climb easier by having worse mechanics but be better at everything else. However if this isnt your main acc and youre higher than pick up Camille for reliability (riot refuses to nerf her) or Irelia if you find her fun.

oh no matter who it is im dumping 30 days before i take them into ranked

and yes this is my main, posting from smurfs is cringy

this is my ''smurf'' (more like board shitposting) account :(

But I still feel like Pantheon would be better and once you reach higher elos (hopefully) then you can transition to either Camille or Irelia. Because the problem with bruisers like Cam or Ire is that they require a lot of matchup knowledge while Pantheon is an exception to it. People in Silver-Gold dont understand the burst potential most of the time of a 3/0 pantheon with just a ghostblade.

youre different tho, your posting to help

i mean making a thread asking for help or like one saying matchmaking is unfair, or some typa rant from a smurf thats cringy because people impulse upvote without knowing the full story :p

Hmm. I would personally choose Pantheon. Easy to play with, nice poke with q, ult can be really good when used correctly and his passive is one of my favourites.

What champs do you have high mastery on?

Panth is probably the simplest of the 3 mechanically w/ the most complicated things he can do being passive reset w/ w (to block turret shots in a dive or teamfight) and ult, and he is the biggest lane bully of the 3, but he also falls off the hardest.

Camille and irelia are strong mid-late game bruisers that are a bit more mechanics oriented (gotta hit your hookshot stun/irelia stun and irelia ult, plus gotta get the timing down for getting the true damage on Camille 2nd Q, but these 2 are better split pushers and much stronger late than panth and if you do get ahead early you can snowball just as hard as panth, but its harder to get ahead early than on Pantheon since his simpler kit/combo makes it easy to bully your lane opponent.

Really depends on what youre looking for and what youre used to. I personally would suggest Camille b/c her E mobility is only dependent on walls while panth and irelia have to target a unit for their mobility skills camille can just E a wall behind her and away to escape ganks (or to go in and backup your jg), Plus Camille takes down turrets the fastest w/ her double AA reset on Q

mostly enchanter supports, i decided to prepare for the inevitable autofill/lobby troll

Yea, just checked your match history and made another post primary suggestion is Pantheon and i'd say maybe eventually try to learn Camille if you start enjoying/playing toplane more often to have other options

After looking at your match history (after seeing the comment that this is your main), my suggestion is Pantheon, the champs you tend to play are good at poking/zoning until you can all in, and that is exactly what Pantheon does and he does it better than just about anybody.

Tho i would suggest looking into some guides on toplane (junglers will often just ignore top and you'll be 1v2 all game etc), and learn the best ways to freeze lane and other tactics to keep yourself in a position where ganks are less likely to get you.

Because for Pantheon 1 kill up, lane frozen on your side of the river last hitting w/ the crit on low enemies from E passive and poking enemy laner w/ Q and going for the W> AA> Q combo if they come in too close is the ideal position to have your toplane in.

If you are in the silver-gold rank I would actually recommend Yorick. Pretty strong early game with his ghouls, but does require some matchup knowledge. His r is an absolute game changer in fights and he is a super good splitpusher if that is your style.

Yorick is one of the best top lane champs in low elo rn. If you don’t want to try Yorick then I would recommend panth from your 3 champs.

camille is the only answer...

if you learn her basics among with some more advanced combos and most importantly how to trade with top lane match ups, you will find it hard to lose games with her as she is one of the most effective splitpushers in the game when even or ahead not in the definition of a splitpusher that's normally a 1v1-2v1 god but in the sense that she can get away with ease and with demolisher rune + titanic and trinity she can pretty much destroy a full health tower with half a wave. In fact, and especially in lower elos, if your team has half a brain to just defend and not engage in meaningless fights you can pretty much end the game by just splitpushing.

She is also, imo, the best champion for picking off squishies. Her initiation is only rivaled by nocturne/zac. And even if you get focused down before you could kill your target, if your team followed up properly, it's still winner winner chicken dinner for you
