when people get mad at me for smurfing but dont understand how plat+ works

i just tell them that being a 10 percent win factor in the game lowers your expectations and makes you tilt easier.

there are so many factors to winning a game in plat + that your skill becomes irrelevant. heres 5 off the top of my head

  1. abusing the fotm broken champ
  2. tilted teammates
  3. boosted teammates
  4. teammates lagging
  5. jungler being better than mine
  6. bugs that kill you ( riven q bug thats still active after 2 years)
  7. premade top with jungler vs solo player (me)
  8. toxic teammate that tilts the living shit out of u and costs u the game
  9. teammates with no awareness
  10. person that rage quits after 2 deaths or a bad support or such

would u look at that, i got carried away!!!

on a serious note, i smurf to know that i can carry games. to know that im actually still a good player i smurf so that my thoughts of high elo being hard disappear. high elo is all rng. if you believe other wise, you're either an lcs player or someone who isnt high elo. high elo being d3+

Stomping non-plats makes you good at the game? I can understand needing a break but beating people who are clearly under you doesn't prove you're good

it doesnt. i meant stress free games and such. i didnt mean to come off like that.

plat is easy to win lane and carry but the teammates you get are 70 percent boosted and blind as fuck.

"High elo is all rng....high elo being d3+"

If high elo is all rng, then how do the same players consistently climb over multiple accounts past D3? dozens of players consistently take accounts into masters/challenger over and over again, which would not be possible if the results of high elo games was based on rng.

because they are challenger players that are amazing at the game. people that are d3 and can actually play their role are either stuck there or climbing very slwoly because of the others.

yes so it's not RNG, there are good players, and then the players who deserve to be diamond 3 that are stuck there.....

We've got all those problems and more in the lower ranks, don't need some smurf trying to get their kicks by creaming us in our promos. Go back to the rank you belong or play Normals.

i dont want to wait 15 minutes to get into a game with a rage quit 5 minutes in. but thanks for the offer.

  1. Being a bitch and blaming everything but yourself. Sure you can't carry every game but you are the only constant in your games.

i can keep playing the way i am and climb to masters within a month. or i can play 1 game a week and wonder to myself why i would play for a month and kill myself.

Yep, people are incredibly boosted those days (especially when you get into Platinum 1). People doesn't even come on nashor calls when the whole ennemy team is dead, they surrend at 20 a lot of games because they are maximum tilted, etc. Actually, I can almost instantly tell if someone has Dynamic Boosted badge or Solo badge just seeing moving for 10 secs. :)
