"Randomly" Disabling specific champions for various reasons.
Gangplank Fizz Zed Riven Fiora Yasuo
Aside from Gangplank who was very specifically tied to the storyline, and who introduced the concept, there's been a few champions disabled due to bugs lately.
My question to Riot is this: Are you studying the effects of these "random" disables to gauge player reaction?
Having no Gangplank for a while was an interesting twist that didn't really impact the meta too much.
But these others? Holy crap. Those characters are powerful targets for bans and massive threats to deal with. When they're missing, it makes a big difference in pick/ban and global strategy.
Honestly I'm hoping that you consider doing more things like Gangplank's "death" in the future but with more than just one champion. It would be pretty sweet to have a week where Piltover is under siege and characters from there get disabled (including
the one that's causing the siege).
Now I'm not insinuating that you're intentionally disabling these... shall we say "controversial" champions just to test the waters. But you absolutely did with Gangplank.
I'm asking you: Are you using feedback from this as though it WERE a test?

yasuo being disabled was to fix the bug in which his q could literally globally q?
