I have an honest question about Leblanc.

Why is her tether range allowed to be so massive, to where it basically lacks any and all counterplay outside of 3 dashes and a flash?

Honestly, as a whole she's the perfect and most extreme example of an issue in the game right now where assassins can assassinate, or attempt to, and walk away free, as well as have very little threat to them in general.

In a more ideal scenario, an assassin would make a judgement call, go in, and either assassinate because he made the right call that it was a winning fight, or die.

In the case of leblanc, she's a safe champion while being an assassin, and to top it off can even go for an assassination attempt while STILL being safe. She's a bit messed up at the moment IMO. Even Shaco (another assassin ironically) with a free flash on somewhat low CD, invisibility during it, and a fear is much easier to catch than her...

Due to Shacos somewhat unique identity and not being insanely oppressive I'm actually fine with him as annoying as he can be. Leblancs ability to be safe almost no matter how many mistakes she makes is honestly just bad gameplay mechanics. The excuse that she falls off late game, and can't freewin games with a super high win % (both legitimate arguments) doesn't really justify this kind of escape mobility on an assassin IMO.

I mean she definitely has flaws, her damage is like panth's where if she doesn't get fed she falls off super hardcore mid/late game and MR can really put a hamper on her damage.

But, like you said, she does feel kinda unfair to play against as a squishy considering she has no clear window of countering or trading. She's like Zed IMO, where she can botch an assassination attempt and get out perfectly fine. Unlike people like Talon who has to go in melee and can get caught out and completely destroyed if he screws up. I like to call those champions State farm champions "Accident forgiveness"

Yep, she's like the platinum level insurance where instead of being able to get out of one or two mistakes, she can get out of like 5 mistakes in a row. Is it actually possible to make a mistake with her? Or as Bob Ross would say, just happy accidents?

I just don't like what she is. I don't mind playing against her when I'm trying to win though simply because as long as she doesn't tilt my team through that early game oppression, she does have those legitimate late game issues. I guess a lot depends on team comp too. If you walk in with all squishies you're gonna have a bad day because while most squishies just nuke eachother back and forth, you can't nuke her back unless he has internet connection issues.
