Is he back? 
I remember I played Renekton at the start of S3 and he was nothing special... but somewhere he was "too op" and then dropped off the rift entirely. Will this new item wave make him strong again?

Captain Aishi1 votesfor me personally, the best time to play renekton was during the mage top craze where you'd see double AP solo lanes with lulu or lissandra top and some other mage mid, since even if they make laning phase harder for you, late game you fall off a lot less... mage killer renekton is strong all game long
besides, renekton is already in a decent spot all-around, he just struggles to keep up against very tanky lane opponents more than anything

Yeah, I've been testing it out and I do a lot of damage in team fights. You E into a carry and stun them and get a couple autos off with activation. Renekton's ult adds HP as well that makes it hit a bit harder.
I think Titanic Hydra is a bit OP for a full HP build. Ends up doing like 400-500 dmg aoe.

Renekton actually autos a LOT in a teamfight. His combos have him cast abilities in between his autos.
