Just curious, it offers DR and critical chance , virtually every bruiser and duelist has to weave autos.
I can say maybe some of stats arent optimal but the fact that it offers flat dr as well as crit baseline and movespeed sounds good to me on like jax or fiora, even riven and irelia considering the importance of autos in their combos

Hammermancer1 votesIts not really just the crit its the synergy with triforce or cleaver that is offered by the attack speed and damage reduction as well as the movement speed.
I mean graves players often only get pd without any other crit items for its synergy with deaths dance

redniwediS1 votesI've tried it on Garen a few times, who benefits from Crit and the damage reduction, but it's not great due to the damage reduction being single target. Generally speaking "bruiser" champs can already handle a one on one fight just fine, so they need to focus on items that help them with 1v2 and 1v3 situations.

MorganFreemanBot1 votesBruisers usually do most of their damage through abilities which have strong AD scaling. PD is an item which is far better for champions who have insane amounts of AD by default (Mundo), or who are going to steroids, build glass, and are looking to multiply their power expotentially.
Bruisers tend to want the most-bang-for-their buck damage wise and then to go hard defense, so PD isn't generally good on them.
