Old VLAD was LITERALLY better at EVERYTHING

There isn't a single thing that was meaningfully traded off. He is just WORSE in EVERY way. His sustain in fights, his E delay and minion block. cooldowns are longer, Q needs 3 casts to even come close (while having a predictable 2.5 second window to even do that), AP ratios down/ damage in general is down. E no longer gives healing buff. WTF gives here? EDIT: just cuz this is getting down voted so much Vlad holds the 124th highest win rate, as in 123 champs have a greater win rate than he does

The old way he was played, was to ghost or flash ult the enemy team, E, then Q, then Pool and by the time his ult popped WOTA would heal Him just like his new ult does. Now if you try the same thing you will get wrecked the second you start channeling E. you will probably be forced to pool and hardly have time to even TRY and stack his Q up anywhere in there

In all seriousness, new Vlad is overpowered in my opinion. Considering his passive gets him upwards of 700 AP and 4000 health (with items...), and his E literally does 1k damage late game in an AOE, plus he still has an aggressive ass laning phase...

I either ban him or play him because he's just a dick now.

Well considering he has a low 40s% win rate, you are wrong. not trying to be a dick. He is just weaker. Otherwise his win rate would be higher. Also, the way you word it makes it sound like he get up to 700 AP and 4000 from his passive Alone, as in the passive gives 700 ap. which it doesn't.

He's a new rework, and that winrate is for plat+. Of course it's going to be low one patch after he's changed.

what? do we play a different kind of league? because this is utter bullshit, sorry for these words but this is something everybody would dream. the game you think you play is vs bots, on ascension mode on full build and shit, because 700ap and 4k hp in the same build are simply something that does not exist, mate either you have the hp or the ap, and not both, you can try but you get gangraped faster then you can earn the heal from youre ult, because you might deal like 400 bonus dmg from e and w, also like idc600 dmg? but think about it like this, IF it was possible, you deal yourself 1400 dmg by simpley pressing w e, and then you got 2,6k hp AFTER YOURE OWN SPELLS you will need 3 qs so 9 seconds to come to the empowered heal, which MIGHT be maybe if youre day is good and there is no ignite or morrelos like 600-700, and youre ult maybe, just maybe 1k again IF you survive burst, or any form of cc,

and if we say you get this but not the other, you suffer from these problems stil pretty fking hard, because his scalings are not that good, q basic is what you use, the empowered is like a legend, said to be there, but iot never seems to be there, slows and any form of cc are youre enemy, sooooo yeah no dmg/heal from there, but beyond that the old e did 90% ap with every e every like 3 seconds, in aoe, AND it healed you for whatever spellvamp you got, arround 20% if you have stacked up e, and or spirit visage, then even more

New Vlad does lane bully pretty well. And his CDR itemization is better, best it's been since S5.

Running CDR runes did the same thing as needing items. He was a better bully before not needing to triple Q, and being able to E people even in a creep wave. EDIT: Also WotA Gave CDR and was removed, so its not that much better than before

if you think the new vlad lane bullies well, u shoulda seen the old vlad. No matter what you wont fall below 50% and just pokes the crap out of the opponent with the spell vamp.

Old Vlad was weak pre revolver, and still risky before WotA. Most opponents could consistently all-in you, and eventually just coordinate a dive w/ jungle.

Also not being forced to rush a sustain item opens up build paths into multiple variants.
