he has the most counterplay of all supports

his Q is delayed probably just need a hitbox bug fixe his E has a low range his R is delayed his AA have a low range he has the worst base stats of every supports which makes him squishy in early game

he has 45% win rate in world, meanwhile tahm kench has 80% with retarded damage and utility while being full tank but nobody care about him.

His Q also doesn't face the direction the hook is going until the hook actually fires. This means that while you can know that hook is coming, you have no idea where it's headed until it's already on it's way. Not the most solid counterplay there.

his E has a low range

It's also AoE, has a multitude of uses both offensive and defensive, is instant, and has pretty decent waveclear potential. Let's also not forget it has that handy AA modifier.

his R is delayed

It's also AoE, has an enormous slow, and has very nice scaling.

his AA have a low range

No, Xin has low AA range; because he's melee. Thresh has low AA range compared to other ranged characters, but he still enjoys all the advantages that being ranged has.

he has the worst base stats of every supports which makes him squishy in early game

He doesn't need base stats. His AP and armor scale infinitely. His kit has so much utility his abilities could do no damage and he'd still be useful as hell.

i agree on his Q

his E isn't instand unless you want to pull your enemies, it also have less range than old sion Q,

his R isn't aoe, the first wall deals damage and slow for 2 seconds the second wall does no damage and slows for 1 seconds,

and he needs base stats or he will die so easily early on, his infinty armor scaling doesn't matter, because every thresh has in every game a maximum of 100 stacks which makes 75 bonus armor, every tanks gains 3 armor per level which is 54 bonus armor so thresh has 20 bonus armor from his passive at lvl 18. wow

Because Tahm is only really good in pro play. In soloq hes still basically shit imo. Also "he has the most counterplay of all supports" Kappa

thresh; dodge the hook, step on the lantern, being farther than 450 range, can blink out of his ulti, kill him early on since he has 12 base armor and 490 base hp. tahm kench: Q almot not dodgeable, he can eat his mate and just get out with the bonus ms, he can also stack quickly his stacks with his Q, and his E has only "kill a 4k hp tank while cc'ing him quickly" counterplay

did you just call tahm only good in pro play? he is beyond broken, unlike thresh has he 30% ban rate, can 1v1 any jungler or top laner at lvl 7-8, can peel anybody without any counterplay, and can summon ganks with his mates at lvl 6 if they know how to play

Thresh has an Aoe shield, Aoe knock up and an Aoe slow. he might be weaker than tahm kench in lane, but in teamfighs he'ill do a lot of aoe dmg and cc (no one will bother dodging his ult or E in a teamfight), while tahm only has his single target slow, that will probably hit a minion anyway. he'ill have to use his w on a allie, since he can't really stack his passive in the middle of a teamfight

his shield isn't aoe, his knock up leasts 0.25 seconds. thresh does less damage than tahm kench

his Ww saving has counterplay and it's what makes thresh thresh anyway

tahm just has to eat his adc and runs while basically being unkillable

I tought the lanterh gave the shield to everyone, checked it now and it's only the first who steps on it. still he's more usefull than tahm in teamfights.

Thresh doesnt face the direction he throws his Q so the delay basically non existent, stepping on his lantern and blinking out of his ult is pretty much impossible most of the time and so is killing him early. Also Tahm is fairly easy to kill early too, at least he is nearly useless without his ult dmg, all he can do is eat his adc.

Tahms Q doesnt do a lot on its own tho. It also has less range and 3 seconds less cooldown than Thresh Q at max rank (if he hits it). Tahms W is melee tho, Thresh has basically the same on over 1000 range... You can just ignore Tahm and let his shield decay fast too.

Tahm IS only good in pro play unless were talking about Dia+. Hes just a fat, unmobile tank that gets kited hard for the most part.

You can pick Tahm Kench into any comp. His devour is what makes him a solid pick in solo queue and professional play. Any time you can save your carry(ies) with an ability that can cancel any form of cc, you can't go wrong.
