Something that got me thinking, I feel like when Season 9 hits. It might receive a high Pickrate (despite being a tank based scalling Rune) to fasten the laning phase that Riot are trying to extend...

Tahminatrix 1 votesIt would be a good counter to enemy toplane bullies that happen to roam a lot (like pantheon) since they wont be able to afford to roam as much or as often without giving whoever they are trying to keep from scaling a substantial amount of gold.
Atleast if it applies to every tier 1 tower, instead Ive been lead to believe the barricades only go on botlane which will mean supports that can poke / sustain will have a much more important job of making sure any tanks they are playing against will stay away from their turret just by doing their job.
And other lanes will be more inclined to roam bot....which is the last thing we really want considering the already common 4/5 man bot scenarios.
