Compensation for mages for the loss of DFG should be extremely tiny and almost unnoticable

Also they should probably rework the playstyle of most of them like they did to Ahri since most of the people who use it well are cancer but that's beside the point.

Basically, since they're removing DFG, mages are going to build a different item instead. Any large compensation will essentially be giving the mage a 7th item and saving them the gold.

The compensation should be extremely small, maybe a .1 or .2 ratio increase somewhere or probably some minor base damage increase since most of the people who build it rely on it more early-game than late-game since you can't just assume that they're now with only 5 slots and are down 120 ap/10% cdr/the active; this isn't Lichbane where they just compensated the removed ratio, the item was removed and compensation should not be anything large at all.

edit: but yeah they should just see how the meta is first, stop doing tons of shit at once especially since season 5 starts tomorrow.

If there is no item changes other than DFG removal...

maybe most of them will run into WotA (CDR plus bonus Sp Vamp) or Rylai (for additional Health and the next most AP with 100)...

some will make Liandry as alternative...

or maybe RoA (for those who have Mana)...

so they will work any changes with those instead...

i wonder what new item be like since i heard they said about new NLR item...

I think they are only buffing the champions where DFG was a needed core item, like on Mordekaiser who they are actually not going to buff from what i ca tell, rather on champs that just used it to blow people up .5 sec faster.

Although i read Kat is getting nerfed damage/burst wise and buffed mobility wise so i wonder if that has anything to do with DFG.
