Duskblade is an abomination and needs to be nerfed.

In current game state you can either abuse duskblade and one shot someone or you might as well pick another champion. Is there ever a reason to not take duskblade on any ad caster ? Im kind of tired of champions that are overpowered because they can proc duskblade twice. I feel like its kind of silly that assassin rework happened to give more counterplay and yet this iteam by itself removes any counterplay. Here are my suggestions, i would be happy if even one came to fruition:

  • Remove ward detection Its ridiculous that good duskblade user cant be caught in a warded brush because he reveals the ward and if its on cooldown its easy to see that proc duration goes down = its warded.

  • Remove proc buff when damage is taken Assasins should be all about surprise and getting first hit, champions shouldnt be able to just run straight in clear vision on their target and get away with it.

  • Add diminishing returns on multiple procs So you can stop nerfing Khazix Kayn the abusers instead.

Im honestly very frustrated with this iteam i dont know if i will open any discussion but this post really helped me vent my frustration with this game right now.

Nerf Duskblade and buff the AD assassins who are using it as a crutch for their strength. It's killing build diversity.

What about remove duskblade totally, admit that assassins rework was a failure and buff them? Sounds great to me. It's ridiculius that one champ class is so much dependent on a item to do their job.

I've been saying for literally 5+ months that Duskblade is overtuned, underpriced, and it heavily takes away from what we could GIVE to AD Assassin's actual KITS.

I see duskblade being build in every single game, its like the morello for mages but only it is more cancerous because it gives no counter play to the burst it offers.

Assassins suck ass and can't kill anyone with all the tanks and shields: "Assassins can't do their jobs properly!" Assassins actually able to do their jobs: "everyone getting one shotted! nerf assassin itemization!"

Agree completely. Played against a Nocturne with Dark Harvest and Duskblade the other day and he was literally one shotting with R.

The item adds too much instantaneous power and is basically a must build for any AD assassin.

I want to see an AP item that is First spell every 6s that hits an enemy champ deals 250-350 bonus damage and has 80 AP and 20 Magic Pen

Yeah and leave item 2419 as a rune and that item 3147 can go fuck himself If they nerfing items that assassins use, get the fucking stopwatch out of the rune tree.

just give its damaging passive a CD (like 5 sec) or a CD per champion (like zed's passive,le blanc's passive or yasuo's E) so they can't abuse it

It's a crutch for AD assassins. Nerf the item to stop the abuse and you have to buff AD assassins to compensate.

Buy Sunfire -> you are now immune to Duskblade

That's how stupid this suggestion is.

I agree, its time to remove duskblade and just buff assassins that use it. I'm sick of seeing literally any AD caster build this item.

Honestly removing the ward detection would balance a lot of shit, since stealth champs are able to bypass our only "counter play" with an item that doesnt make them lose anything

Maybe make the damage actually scale on bonus AD, not just level? It would at least make Akali stop building it on top of her AP.
