Hello, ever since 
rework her E - Equinox has been bugged. It is supposed to silence if you stand in it however if you put it under someone in statis
they will be able to flash out of it or buffer some escape skill like
-W or 
-E before silence is applied.
Equinox should be one of the most skill expressive spells of this bug makes it incredibly frustrating.
Yeah, had this happen all too frequently... and it's frustrating as heck...
But i guess if you're not a annoying vocal streamer screaming "kys riot" whenever a bug happens on your champion, getting it fixed won't be happening lol
Now i'm no game designer but my assumption of why this happens is that Equinox probably applies it's silence in intervals, and because the target in stasis isn't affected by it they can effectively "dodge" the interval of application of the silence even if they're right in the middle of it, allowing them to buffer in escape skills which will be cast once the stasis wears off...
It isn't a bug, it is the refresh rate of the ability that is slow. When using any stasis effect, people have a small period of time where they are unaffected by Soraka's E (and any AoE with refresh rate), leading to those escapes.
I personally dislike this feature, but I can see why Riot would keep it as counterplay to Soraka. I hope that in the future they would look at her again, and look at a way to improve her abilities overall.
