But the fact that Ekko has 3 different slows ans a stun is perfectly fine in such a state?

2 of them are the easiest skillshots to dodge in the game and the other requires him to stay in melee range till he gets 3 hits. Also, her R, Mimic and her actually having the burst to work as an assassin.

Leblanc had a silence?

Yes. If she did damage with another ability while you were marked by her Q, you'd also be silenced for like 1.5 seconds.

Or 2 seconds if you go back ffar enough.

Maybe it was two seconds. I don't remember. What I do remember is how bonkers it was playing any kind of melee assassin mid back in that era.

In the case of Ekko it's not even a good comparison. Ekko has disengage, engage, slows, a stun and shield that promote his gameplay. Le'Blanc however is a carefully calculating mage assassin. She poofs in, bursts you down and runs away. Just like Katarina and Kassadin do as well. LB's silence was in fact EXTREMELY oppressive and it made her mid game to late game presence absurd. If the mid laner failed to shut her down early. The lady can easily 1v3 and walk away without a scratch.

Kassadin had a Silence as well but it was no where near as oppressive as LB's. He literally had to ult in to get his dmg off. LB however can root, silence and burst you before you knew it. Kassadin could only silence and slow people, assuming he didn't lose lane pre-6. Another silence that got oppressive was Talons. But he required patience to pull it off properly and it made him a true terror in mid lane.
