@Scarizard - Question about the HUD Update: Why no ult timers and still those little green circles?
While I'm thrilled to see the HUD getting an update, there is one major problem with it: no ultimate timers (not even if you're holding TAB).
We're still sticking with those little green circles? LAME. I don't want to have to keep asking Karthus or Ashe how much more time I need to wait for their ultimates to come back up.
Riot says: "You're supposed to ask. It's called communication."
This isn't a good way to enforce it, though. Any pro player would tell you "STOP TYPING" regardless of your reason, because typing opens you up to being sniped. Or it ends up distracting who you're talking to and gets THEM killed, and then you have a toxic teammate keyboard fight. Or maybe you actually CAN'T ask because of chat restrictions, or maybe the other player speaks Chinese and you can't understand him.
In any case, I'd much rather just take a quick look and see how much time is left rather than having to press Enter and open up the toxi- err, chat window.
Community says: "Too much noise!"
Isn't that what this HUD update is reducing already? If most of the other noise has been reduced, this additional "noise" is acceptable now.
But if you're still going to whine about too much info, then Riot could always make it OPTIONAL. Seriously, it shouldn't be that hard for them to make an option to switch between a detailed ult timer and a simple ult timer. There, everyone wins.
Scarizard, can we get some context as to why the ult timers weren't changed?
(Oh, and I didn't post this on the PBE forums because I don't have access.)
