Nerfing Lee Sin would make so many other junglers viable, it is stupid.

Someone else will become the new Lee

This solves nothing

Duke Anax4 votes

There is no one else to take his position, all that come directly below him are roughly in the same area, they would compete for top spot but not outright take it.

No other position in the game has such a clear go to champ than jungle.

Someone missed out on release Elise.

"release" Elise...

The problem isn't OP champs... it's out of sync, ignorant, non-cooperative, non-communicative players who are oblivious to their own mini map and team cooperation.

They would rather nerf Evelynn/Sona/Cassiopeia than buff Lee Sin.

Okay, thanks for sharing. Do you have any thoughts on the discussion the rest of us are having?

not really

then it would just be League of Jarvan

This. J4's ult practically guarantees a flash against any immobile champ. A perfect J4 ult would destroy the enemy team and can set up really easy wombo combos. He gets really tanky and his flag and drag combo is practically up all the time with some cdr. I'm NOT saying he is OP just that his kit is really, and i mean REALLY good for ganking post-6.

Solumindra2 votes

In league of Mobility Creep. where most of the meta champs have some Flash style move or dash that can go through walls, this isn't really a problem as it was in S2.

Lucian, Kalista, Corki, Caitlyn, Yasuo, Zed, Vi, Akali, Ahri, Renekton, Malphite, Maokai, Rek'sai, Kha'Zix, ETC. ETC.

I don't see Lee getting nerfed any time soon. Honestly though, he's really not THAT hard to deal with. You shut him down like any other high damage assassin.. if your team doesn't have CC that's your problem.

Inb4 not an assassin - unless he's building tanky, he's an assassin. If he's building tanky, you ignore him. He doesn't hit very hard without items.

I do agree though, Lee has much clearer success than every other jungler in the current meta. If he were to get nerfed, it would more than likely raise the popularity of literally every other jungler. Just don't see it happening any time soon :(

dont try, everything you just typed is being processed by pros first. the only thing they sw was "lee has a much clearer success".anything else having to do with dealing with him gets shoved out the other ear. its hopeless. let them try to play lee thinking hes op and see for themselves just how easy he is to go vs.

I'm ready for Lee to be picked the first week and then never picked again.

Matezoide3 votes

The point isnt even him being OP, it is just the way he forces the shit out of most Junglers out of the game just by existing.

Daaaaang3 votes

I agree with you that he forces most junglers out. It's not that he exists though, it's that he's mobile and noobs don't know how to counter that. He can be very aggressive and conservative on the fly and doesn't require any hard engage. It's the same reason you see a lot of Pantheon top and Akali mid. When you're playing against noobs, it's stupid easy to snowball.

If he were to be nerfed, people would still play him but other jungles would start showing up a lot more. Then, because all the kids like to be Trick2G, they will jump to the new OP champ. It's not LeeSin himself, it's how easy it is to snowball with him.

Solumindra1 votes

That makes it Lee-Sin himself....He is a high mobile champ. It's easy to snowball with high-mobile champs, He needs a Kassadin treatment.

AmightyT3 votes

So a champion that doesn't fall off at any point in the game isnt overpowered? So a hyper mobile champion isn't overpowered? So a champion with such great AD scaling for his spells and an AS buff isnt overpowered? Lee sin is a massive problem

Daaaaang1 votes

Lee Sin falls off hard late game. He required hard engage to do any real damage, and all of his defense is in his mobility. Lee does awful in team fights in games over 40 minutes. If nobody is getting caught out, he literaLeeSin can't do shit.

AmightyT1 votes

Lee Sin falls off with his damage late game. Do you see any good lee sins building damage past midgame? No, because building tank does so much more for him lat game where he becomes a utility god. He can peel, he can catch any out of position squishies with extreme prejudice. His ult changes games. He may not have as much damage as Kha or as much utility as J4, but he has more than enough of both that it doesn't even matter.

Spacesuit Spiff2 votes

How to deal with Lee Sin in 3 easy steps:

  1. Let your enemy pick Lee, while picking any remotely viable jungler that you actually know how to play.
  2. Watch the enemy Lee do absolutely nothing all game because even though Lee is good in LCS, the majority of people playing him don't play him to his skillcap and would have better results with something simple like Warwick/Amumu.
  3. Win the game because unless you're extremely high elo, tiny differences in champion power are completely insignificant compared to the vast range of skill between players in a given bracket.

You guys make such a big deal about Lee when in reality, anyone competent enough to play him properly would roll 95% of the playerbase with literally any jungler. Lee might be strong, I'm not going to make claims about that, but it's really not an issue unless a champ is strong and also braindead easy (4.20 WW)

Good lord this forum hates Lee Sin.

JustMyBassCannon2 votes

No kidding. Between the obvious Lee Sin threads, the bait Lee Sin threads, and the people who will randomly comment about Lee Sin in unrelated discussions, it's like everyone and their cat has a boner for the beheading of the blind monk.

They should probably talk to their doctors about that; it has lasted more than 4 hours.

I Summons I1 votes

I honestly don't see the problem with lee sin. I mean, yea he is strong as heck but he isn't op. If he was, he would be seeing a lot more bans.

Hayaishi1 votes

Then Vi or J4 take up his mantle and you accomplished nothing by nerfing him.

And believe me, you would prefer having Lee Sin in his current state than having J4 or Vi being dominant.

S3 J4 was a nightmare to deal with.

Rhlax1 votes

Nerfing Lee Sin could make Rek Sai or someone else the new king of the jungle.

SentineIz1 votes

riot fucked it up for jungle crew. i hate how you HAVE to max out drain on fiddlesticks now. cant even go darkwind first.
