Refusing to communicate with team, still valid?

Had this a lot, especially late at night where the entire game nobody will ping, nobody will talk (gold 2 ish range) in ranked.... and will ignore everything you say/ping no matter what.

Jungler afk farming until literally the game ends, adc split pushing getting 4 man ganked repeatedly.... and I have to ask, since the new system of banning is automated, and a LOT of people encourage "go on, muite everyone! focus on your game!" ...is this okay? Or is this reportable? Last game literally the only words spoken were me trying to get jungle to quit afk farming to help our bot lane, help dragon.... and thresh flaming before falling silent. The other three? Dead silent, afk farmed the entire game.

Teamwork wins games, but too many have the mindset of "i'll focus on bettering myself" in Ranked which... shouldn't be the place to say forget the team ima do what i want....

Always work on bettering yourself, but this has gotten out of hand (or maybe I just have had horrid luck lately... possible)

tldr; is refusal to communicate still valid for reports with the new "automated" ban system, and how does it fit in with the constant "mute everyone" advice?

PS: YES there is indeed a time to mute an entire team for flaming, but literally ignoring pings, ignoring teamwork, and ignoring well.. everyone but yourself is the issue im talking about.
