@Riot Mana adjustement for mages

I've just read the thread about the incoming mana changes. As far as I look at them, I find them harsh, I fear I wont be able to clear waves and roam to gank other lanes, or manaless champions with outtrade me because I can retaliate as often because mana gatting, and because the mana growth diminished I wonder if I will be able to poke and fight in the lategame without fearing going oom in any moment.

I want to ask what where your results when testing this, because you said you can go oom after your first back, but there is a world of possibilities behind that scenario.
