Why can Ekko, a melee champion, be inmune to being denied farm?

It is already difficult enough to secure the upper hand against his kit, then once you zone him, he can get close half a second, Q the entire wave, and reap the CS by doing so 2 times. No need to interact with the enemy laner, no risks of death taken because W E and R are all defensive tools.

Please tell me exactly how is this fair? Ekko is melee, assasin, not mechanically intensive and brings utility, and also can't be denied CS?

Are you serious?

His Q shouldnt deal full damage to minions. Holy shit

he runs out of mana you know. you can deny him farm. early game his Q wont one shot waves so he gets no mana back from dorans. corrputing potion makes his Q do little damage. so yeah. .you can deny him farm this thread is ridiculous. it takes two autos after Q I believe to kill backline minions and 3 or 2 Qs and 1 auto to kill melee minions.

That's why you walk to the side on his Q shot and go Harrass him

You want all melee to be denied farm? That is kinda sad, isn't it?

So mages can have Burst Waveclear CC Range advantage

While assassins only get Burst Mobility

Don't know where you're going, but without waveclear, Ekko would need alot of buffs and would probably never be viable for lcs. Your team lacking waveclear is such a big disadvantage and imo every champion in mid lane should be able to clear waves fast
