Is it really necessary for Akali Q to be slower than the R?

yes because its a very short cd its meant to be spam at low range so you have actual counterplay

me: in blood moon, throws q, ults to them, aa's then flashes away so i don't die my q: right after i flash away it lands, applying tld's killing them it was pretty funny to be honest

Actual combo that you are supposed to use: Q - wait until Q comes off cooldown - Q again - R - auto to proc first Q - second Q lands - auto to proc second Q. Crescent Slash whenever after the first proc.

Why it should be kept slow:

1. Akali is all point and click, it gives time to react. It also extends the time on her burst.
2. When you're in lane, you can throw it and walk out of tower range to avoid tower aggro

Why it should be faster:

1. Feels bad when you throw Q but auto before it lands

The argument goes both ways.
