Don't deny it, we all know some champions get more love than others. I'm sure Riot assign their best artists and designers to work on Ahri. Just look at Popstar and Challenger Ahri.

Everything Cassiopeia-related is done half-assed.

  1. Her rework. Poison mage gone. Poor communication with players. (She is more balanced now, I will give you that)

  2. Model update. Her face is ugly as hell. Have you not seen her splash arts? She's a cunningly beautiful woman with a snake tail. NOT AN OLD HAG

  3. New splash art. Her eyes are not supposed to have pupils, they are supposed to be glowing. Did the artist not look at any of her other artworks before working on the new base?

  4. Her new voice-over completely destroyed that seductive-bitch personality. All she talks about now is poison. The lines are neither witty nor interesting, they feel forced and uninteresting. Have you heard Sivir's lines? She also got a few extra lines for the Shurima event. HOWEVER, hers are all very clever.

  5. This new Chroma pack.. is possibly the worst batch I've ever seen...

This is coming from a Cassiopeia main : I'm devastatingly disappointed in Riot.

Please do not ruin other Champions by putting out content that isn't completed/ good quality...

after 500 games with cassio i dont feel to play her anymore . and yes this chroma proves how much riot hates cassio ; @meddler

Riot couldn't care less about their only lamia champion, in all seriousness.

The entire champion feels simply rushed and unfinished. Not only did they force the most hated rework in the history of this game on her, they lazily replaced her textures while leaving her model and animations untouched and called it a VU. Then they went on to ruin any personality she had before by replacing her lines with something entirely unrelated to her actual gameplay. Heck, she doesn't even hiss anymore.

I don't recall the current Cass making use of her poison at all, all she does is spam Twin Fangs. Too bad that kind of playstyle is simply unviable now, she was nerfed too many times already and left in the gutter to rot. Right now she's in a worse state than she was before the rework hit her.

Nine months later and there still aren't any plans to improve her - at this point only another rework can make her playable again. Also her last skin came out in 2013, naturally I'd expect something new this year but she isn't worth the trouble of making new skins for apparently - but she sure as hell is bad enough for a lazily done set of chromas.

I'm appalled at the ongoing neglection this champion and her players have to endure. I've stopped playing her since a couple of months ago, she simply isn't worth it anymore. The entire champion is a massive failure - a failure that needs to be addressed as soon as possible.

Because here at riot games, we would never ever think to objectify women. So we decided to nerf all our artists when it comes to ladys. Just look at kalista and rek sai. Does that look sexy to you? No? Same for us, but it keeps the women quiet. Oh and men can't be objectified. Braum having 16 pack abs with no shirt is just part of his personality :)

This is hideous. Like really awful. When did Morgana turn into a snake?

They're clearly thinking VERY inside the box on these chromas. Like, why not give her some brown human skin, white snake skin, and silver metal jewelry/bikini? Or copper human skin with albino snake skin and gold metal?

Or something crazier like black snake skin and metal with magenta highlights (like void fizz coloring)?

They're just so, so ugly. The only chroma I've seen that's not either boring or an abomination is Nami.

While I can't speak to Cassiopeia as a champion, I can speak a bit on behalf of her recent chromas. Thanks to player feedback, we're taking a second look at these and are discussing potential changes to them.

I don't like the new chroma pack for Cassiopeia either, but I do like her new VO.

Her updates models are meh. The faces are pretty bad, and the update for Desesperada Cassiopeia was pretty bad. Classic looks okay I think. Siren's not so good but it wasn't to begin with. The others look the same, with the sharp face they gave her which I'm not a fan of.

Cassi's new splash has a pretty good concept IMO but the execution was off. Her pose is excellent. What better way to get a serpentine curve than with League's actual half snake? And everything looks good for the most part- her scales are well detailed, and the background's solid, but her face... it's just bad. She looks like Wukong. Cassiopeia MonkeyKing It is a shame the most important part of the splash was the worst one.

This is all subjective, of course. But, what you said is true: Cassiopeia always gets slighted because she's not popular. Riot's going to leave her with her trash rework because they don't care. And Meddler said they weren't working on her but they'd get back to her later; which we all know won't happen. They'll just hope we forget about it and if someone brings it up again they'll say the same shit. It's just stupid. If they were going to half-ass it they might as well not have done it all.

Okay? The Chromas need some touching up, but then again doesn't every skin and chroma on pbe get that? And what is this about her not being a poison mage anymore? Aside from her ult the rest of her kit seems fairly focused around her poisons. The rest just looks to be opinions, so really can't comment on that, you're welcome to think what you like about the champ, but Riot has to do what they think is best and if they think the new direction is a better option then that's the way they are going to go.

Why the fuck is she so ugly in game. I personally never pay attention to the finer details because I assume that my character model atleast slightly resembles the splash art (my comp sucks so I have to believe that) but jesus christ, wtf rito. These pics are eye-opening.
