Well you deserve it with that name. Also if you didn't know to not approach him with a full fury bar, then it's kind of your fault.

he ran at me with e.

So you're telling me you didn't know his e is a dash, or that you don't know you should let him push to your tower? Because he will push, or else he loses that fury. It's pretty simple. If he pushes, you farm under your tower. If he doesn't push he's not a threat since his crit will be low. Once he's pushed it's also a pretty easy gank for the jungler, so I don't see the problem.

InsaneSamurai1 votes

With the e and the automatic slow, it's pretty much impossible to get any farm and stay out of range for him to at least hit you a couple times if he really wants to. If he's 6, the tower doesn't even matter all that much unless tryn bricks his moves.

Leti the Yeti14 votes

no worries, tryn will stay out of turret range like everyone else as mentioned ebfore Tryn WILL push the wave for fury

and tryn's ult is easy to deal with if hes diving you As long as you can take 1 or 2 hits from him and have atleast 1 cc he would alreay burn his slow and E and all you have to do is walk away as he either backs off or turret kills em

HURRDURR IMA FITE TRYN DURING HIS ULT, SHIT I DIED, THIS MTHERFKER IS BROKEN

Leti the Yeti7 votes

his dives are easy to deal with, just be a big boy and walk away

InsaneSamurai2 votes

he generally goes where you go. leave the turret? then when his ult wears off(which gives him plenty of time to eat some cc under the turret and still kill you) there's less chance of him dying since he's leaving it with you.

Leti the Yeti2 votes

i mean if he's full health when he started diving and ur just gonna leave your tower immediately,.. you are kinda screwed really going in circles aint that hard.. depending on if he already used his spin just to get close enough to you under tower tower's tend to kill tryndameres when his ult wears off.. especially since the towers got some time to ramp up on damage and his heal wont save him

everyones gotta be greedy and be ike " UGH I GOTTA DO 1 MORE DMG TO HIM" no, fk off will ya, the chances that something kills him after you walk away is higher than the chance that you actually kill him

InsaneSamurai1 votes

I don't see how going in circles prevents him from killing you when you're automatically slowed.

too bad enough potions didnt stop him from snowballing and 1 shotting me. thank god counterplay can be done to a trynd after he snowballs. thank god crits are still existing in this game.

Kinda feel bad for playing the Undying jackass in ranked some times.

Only one ive lost to in lane was Trundle. Even then I just swap with mid and tear it down in minutes.

Hes the worst shit ever with a blood thirster on top of some AS. I really wish his ult wasn't to negate all damage for a few seconds. If you're team refuses to head warnings and bring some good cc its just going to be 50 minutes off Defense and destruction on your side.

Abuse the smite bug when you're up against him :^) It'll probably be patched soon but it works atm. Get your jungler to smite him while he's ulting.

Look, in my opinion, Tryndamere is not as OP as everyone is saying. You can counterpick him, by going someone such as Pantheon or someone with a good poke early game as well as an escape if he e's. There are some good champs to go against a trynd, including most tanks, if you start the game with a dorans shield for a little bit of help, then going in on him only when he uses his Q. Most trynds that you will face will make the mistake of using Q and having no fury, and that is when you can engage on him most of the time. Just don't take stupid auto attacks for minions, it's not worth it at all. If you are playing someone like Lee Sin, you will have to play it smart, and go in only when he doesn't have crit. It's hard to lane against, I understand that, but I am sorry to tell you, I can't help you too much other than try not to pick someone that will get destroyed against a tryndamere. (If this is ranked). Another good champion is Jax.. Just saying.

This player is a Diamond Lee Sin main, no offense but I'm sure he knows how to lane just fine, and while your counter picks are correct, Lee Sin would normally outlane a Tryndamere easily due to his very strong kill potential early. More than likely what happened in this lane, was both players traded a little bit early on, and around level 4 - 5 both were probably at 2/3 hp or so; in this situation Lee Sin will want to fight Tryndamere and force a trade to bring him into kill potential for the next trade, setting up for the all in and executing with ignite and the second part of Lee's Q before Tryndamere hits level 6. What likely happened, is that Tryndamere got a few lucky crits which essentially won him the lane, because now, instead of having kill potential on Tryndamere, Lee Sin is zoned from the wave, and Tryndamere either forces him from the lane, taking his turret and continuing to outscale Lee, or he hits level 6 before Lee Sin due to zoning, killing him. Either way, those 2 crits essentially win Tryndamere the lane, because to have any chance in this matchup Lee needs to snowball early. To say that you shouldn't pick Lee Sin because he gets out scaled by Tryndamere is absurd, because Lee Sin SHOULD and WILL be able to snowball this lane, as is the case with most early game picks to counter Tryndamere.. unless the RNG gods rain on your parade, in which case, what was and should have been a winning lane is automatically lost.

OceanBIues2 votes

There really isn't a lot any counter play to this, to any of the idiots who are posting "walk away" or don't let him E to you is wrong, and I'll explain why. I'll assume our friend here was playing Lee Sin toplane. Firstoff, when you're playing Lee Sin top, you're typically trying to snowball the lane early due to the high base damage of his abilities etc. Tryndamere on the other hand is supposed to be weak early in the laning phase until he at least gets his ultimate and 1-2 items. The whole goal choosing Lee Sin is to punish Tryndamere early in the laning phase, so naturally you want to force trades, trades you should win 9/10 times.. unless of course the RNG gods strike, in which case Tryndamere slams you in the face with back to back crits, and you're instantly zoned from the wave and all kill potential is now lost, (save a misplay by Tryndamere or jungler interference). As soon as this happens, any strong player will then proceed to walk straight up to the front of the wave and freeze, in which case your early advantage is completely nullified and it becomes a free scaling lane where Tryndamere automatically gets kill potential if you try to get CS. And yes, all because he crit you twice in a row. It's safe to assume that this is almost exactly what happened to the Lee Sin player.

"Just let him push to your tower"

Cool :^) the late game super hyper-unkillable carry is bullying me out of lane and gets to free farm.

"Gank him"

Wow, this totally awesome strategy surely works on only Trynd and no other champions in the game! Thank based forum. :^)

expecting tryndamere to ever teamfight when you're nasus is already a bad plan in itself, but at least stopping him from splitpushing as a nasus is a lot easier to do than if you're playing ashe... true story

Frikgeek1 votes

Yep. Trynd's laning phase is bullshit. Sometimes you completely outplay him but he crits you twice and forces you back, then outfarms you. And sometimes he outplays you super hard, goes all in while you're at half, then doesn't crit once in 8 autos and gets killed. RNG shouldn't be a factor in laning, trynd is just a stupidly random champ.

I Main Swain1 votes

first off, youre talking about how stupid crits are and blaming it on tryndamere? no logic there

second, don't trade with him when he has full fury

his passive is why crits are stupid. you want me to blame it on nasus or something? and i didnt trade with him, he gets his fury super fast then jumped on me with e, i tried to run but i got creep blocked and lost so much hp.

I Main Swain1 votes

so let me get this straight. you think that this champion is the sole reason that crits are stupid? wow, the ignorance is real. again, crits are the problem, not tryndamere. and lets not forget that it isn't difficult to punish a tryndamere for stacking his fury level 1-2 by just going straight into damaging him. as I said earlier, he is squishy and if you get a health advantage over him and keep him from getting free fury, he isn't hard to deal with.

no, hes part of the reason. he only amplifies my hate towards rng.

I Main Swain1 votes

he is not part of the reason, he's part of the result. what do you think, they made crit based off of tryndamere? think about it this way: if they removed crit, you realize how much tryndamere would need changes because of it? HE is based of CRIT, not the other way around. I think every reasonable person would agree that changing crit to a constant but smaller damage steroid would be a perfect solution, however incomplete it may be

Frikgeek1 votes

Crits are fine in the lategame. They are absolutely idiotic in the laning phase. Tryndamere is the problem because he's a viable champ that can crit in the lane. And exhaust doesn't solve the randomness. I'm not saying Trynd's OP, I'm just saying that he wins trades he shouldn't and loses trades when he obviously outplays you. It's just unrewarding, random, and not very satisfying.

I Main Swain1 votes

tryndamere is A problem, not THE problem. and imo, hes only a problem because of crit. if they changed crit chance into % bonus dmg, he would be perfectly fine. sure hed likely need a little tweaking here and there but that would solve the bulk of any problems with him. for example, assuming they do as I said, and for the sake of simplicity lets keep the numbers the same, they could change his full fury from 35% crit to 35% bonus auto damage

Dr Jarjarbinks1 votes

Are you saying tryn crits do more damage than other champs' crits? I don't understand what your complaint is
