I've been in 3 4v5s' today and I just carried as shyvanna. Re-think your champ pool and have better teamwork. There IS a chance you can win and it's decent, capitalize on better tactics and have fun and victories will follow.

Don't higher level elo players just always tell lower level elos who rage "you're in the bracket you belong in," regardless if their raging is because they just lost their promos because 2 of their matches had AFKs?
According to that logic everyone is in the bracket they deserve to be in, and it's their own fault.
There was even some half-assed equation they like to throw around about how the enemy team has just as much chance to get an AFK as you so it doesn't matter.

ranked is kind of pointless, IMO. You get a nice shiny trim for everyone to see in that time where people go to the bathroom/grab food/smoke, a decent skin for gold and a summoner icon to add to the 34 or so you already have. It's hard enough to play with bad players, but the added pressure of knowing that 30-40 minutes of your life has been wasted due to a d/c or troll is too much. I ranked until gold (went to gold 3 for funsies), froze my LP at promos (it doesn't decay in promos) and got all the rewards I wanted with minimum stress.
Let's be real here, your rank in LoL is exactly that. It's a fictitious title in a game. You can't put it on your resume, and outside of the LoL community, it won't carry much of a conversation. I don't see why people get so upset over a game. Bragging rights? Compensation for "shortcomings? Play to have fun, but if it's causing you distress, stop.
I think most people here dong get that how annoying it is to play ranked with an afk. Sure, it balances out in a long time, when I promoed to gold 3 the enemy had afks, not mine, but there needs to be a way to help it. Also kinda annoying to see your team winning lane but lose the game because of an afk.
Just saying, i won a game 4v5 in gold because the enemy team did not actually play the game.
Also, i won a game with 4 adc's and a janna all rushing mid and we won too! If you like i can give ya some proof, three of our adc's were currently in Promos and we even made an enemy jax rage quit. I've made a post earlier too, maybe you can find it :D but yeah what you are experiences does not really have any reason for existing other then QQing over a loss promo because of an AFK. You know, Gameplay and balance would have to be completely separated if people QQ'd about this happening to them, and don't give me any ranked bias. It happens to everybody.

the sooner you understand rank means literally nothing in this game unless you are bronze 5 or master + tier the sooner you can move on with your life. silver through diamond are all literally the EXACT same skill of players.

Even with a smurf I have never seen anyone win a ranked 4v5 in any elo EDIT: wait nvm i remember i carried this 4v5 hard lol it was back when the servers were perfect,i even have a video for proof but its pretty sloppy.

Because that makes sense. Interestingly enough, the 9 other people in your games aren't just Riot employees trolling you. Perhaps, and this is just a theory, but perhaps it's not Riot who fucked you over, but another human being.
