another flaw that you seem to overlook. firewall? too bad i have league bypassing it. i spamm it 4 times and it works? seems to be a problem on ur end- riot.

Different ports.
As often as I see players not realizing when the problem is on their end (often with the firewall in the router not having ports forwarded), I've still gotten the firewall error lately despite having gone through all the motions, even the IE settings necessary - which you wouldn't know about unless you hit the troubleshooting page.
But you'd think after this many seasons it would test the connection before starting a match.
I'm guessing there's a script error somewhere misdirecting something, like a bad address or whatever.

Store in the client is a hit or miss half the time, despite being fully free to pass the wall the client is tripping over something that doesn't exist, the website wouldn't let me log in despite all of the information being 100% correct, the patcher got "an unspecified error" and crashed, and I'm the one to blame for this? What the hell?

Just to clarify a few points, the first time you leave on an account you will get the "I Agree" notification.
This is a one-time thing per account, and happens regardless of it being a low level game, high level game, a DC or intentional leave. However, this one-time notification has nothing to do with a punishment or the status of your account. It's literally just a notification that leaving/AFKing in League is bad.
If you chronically leave/AFK in games following the notification, it is possible to receive penalties. The notification is just for us to ensure that players know the potential penalties before they chronically leave dozens of matches. After the one-time notification, we do tune the system so that most players who have the rare DC or emergency won't ever see a penalty--only players who leave strings of matches in a frequent pattern will see low priority queue.

Restarted the game around five times, restarted my computer, and checked my anti-virus to make sure it was not blocking League of Legends (it wasn't). It alternated between blaming my firewall (which had nothing to do with it) and my internet connection (it said I wasn't connected to the internet, which was pretty funny considering I was in CurseVoice at the time and performing google searches).
I never did reconnect, and my team got slaughtered as a result.

I got nailed with one, but thankfully managed to connect again before the game started.
Next game someone on the enemy team got DC'd and never connected =/

But what about those moments where they have to pause the game and then everyone groans because they can't get their #LCS BIG PLAYS fix because someone bugged out?
These moments are far and few but still happen from time to time. Just not enough that it hasn't become a bigger problem yet.
RellikDloc1 votesI find if I get the firewall error, if you just click the X or cancel instead of retry, then it will bring you back to the reconnect button and you just click on that and it will work the 1st time. Has for me every time. Side note, need even harsher punishments. 80% of my games I have at least 1 troll or someone that quits. It might even be higher then 80. I literally have the worst luck when it comes to getting teammates. I almost don't even want to play anymore because of it.
