Riot nerfing Kayn's Deathfire Touch

So Riot is Lowkey Nerfing Deathfire touch, however they refuse to call this a nerf, and instead have named it a "bug fix" so their player base wouldn't get angry. This is such a stupid nerf. Kayn is at a 46.5% winrate WITH this Deathfire touch advantage. Clearly it's not breaking his kit, or making it op.

For anyone who doesn't know, When you use W with DFT, it gives you extra passive stacks and allows you to transform early. But clearly riot find it too overpowered that Kayn players are sacrificing Thunderlords/Fervor for a 3 minute early transformation. GG.

It's not a nerf, it's a bugfix.

It's an interaction not meant to happen that gives him access to his powerspike way earlier than he's intended to.

But the point is by picking death fire you are making your late game overall weaker you lose burst on shadow kayn and on rhaast you lose some sustain in fights opening up COUNTERPLAY and falling off late make in it easier to be focused down so it comes with it's strengths and weaknesses and it's still healthy gameplay for both sides

Point being is, that it's not intended to be able to transform before even unlocking your ult consistently. However, I agree that Kayn doesn't need any nerfs, he's in an okay-maybe-a-bit-underwhelming spot.

Yes I actually agree. My point is, He's still underpowered even with this bug that's giving him an advantage. If they're going to remove it, they should at least give him a compensation buff.

I hope they don't nerf deathfir touch on kayn it makes him viable in lane I really love this champ and he's still hard to have an impact even with deathfire if they remove it what will it accomplish absolutely nothing but make a champ they just put out and people spend money and time and effort on near useless in lane forcing them to jungle and ruining any chance of versatility and versatility is that champs theme he's an assassin that can be built multiple ways this allows him to build in weird ways like I plat support kayn and this nerf would dumpster that not only if I want red form I normally have to wait to get raast I want that dammage vs a jg to mean something when they leave and count towards your score only getting one one from an easy to dodge skill shot is unsatisfying and death fire touch really makes those early trades feel worth it
