Lets talk about pre 30 queues on oce

Yes I am aware I am posting this on the na boards. OCE boards never get checked by rioters. I've been in a voice chat with oce riot Qualopec who admitted they rarely check. Lets just say if you see a riot sticker on a non news post on oce boards go buy a lottery ticket.

After talking to Riot Platy on twitter via the riot games support twitter account he was out of stuff to say back to me so he recommended me to make a post here so here I am. As I told him I don't think this post will do anything but I may aswell.

Pre 30 oce queue times for normal blind pick tend to be around 10-20 minutes long regardless if you are put into the "smurf" queue or new player queue. As you would imagine that would put people off playing the game if they are a new player. And if you want normal draft you are looking at a queue of atleast 17 minutes+. for intermediate bots it averages 2 minutes.

Before you go down and mention its tft's release making the queue times bad its not. I've played on this server for 4 years now and leveled up 3 accounts. its been like this for ages.

At the moment the best way to even level accounts on oce is with a 5 man since for some reason you match with level 30+ people which shortens the queue.

Also for those of you wondering why 3v3 or aram aren't even in consideration here first off all 3v3 norms is open for only 7 hours for 2 days a week so that is out and aram is where people bot level accounts to sell which makes it a struggle/misery when its you and 4 bots verse 5 people. As of current oce accounts are commonly sold because of the pain of leveling. many people buy them because of the annoyance.

I suggested a fix to Qualopec and Platy:

Once you hit level 17 or 20 you should be able to get into norm draft/blind pick queues with 30+ Once you hit level 17 you have the same runes as 30+, only lack game experience and champions. Doing this fix will shorten the queue times and somewhat make blind pick a faster queue. Atleast for oce people go blind pick for the fast queue times or it just draft not being open yet (norms draft is open after 1pm nz time and closes late night)

I feel as something should be done with the low level oce queues as both new players and returning players don't really enjoy waiting 20 minutes to get into a match.
