Lets start with a Yes or no.
You have 100 people in a room. You don't know anything about them.
Is there an Average Hight?
Is there an Average Age?
Is there an Average level of Talent for making Grilled cheese sandwiches?
You don't know the exact values, but the steps to find out what the average is and where people line up in comparison? You think that can be done by collecting relevant data or not?
Im 100% certain that Riot's system forces wins/losses.
I am aware of your beliefs. Just wish you would take the time to look up Elo and study how the systems work. MMR is a derivative of Elo so learning about Elo to start is a good place. By Rigging the results it creates an unnatural average level of skill. An unnatural average cant be used to have functional Elo.
If you think its a Different system then Elo that's fine, but if you try to design a forced system over a natural one its excessively more difficult then a Elo system. There's no gains for doing this. At all.
Can you provide a Why for what Riot would want to use a rigged system and what it would use to so rapidly gauge skill to a point its able to rig games?
Because they try and push Smurfs up the ladder and make people with lower MMR then their rank down the ladder they build matches to fit that goal.
This is already done by slanting LP gains to match MMR ranges. 0 extra effort is required. High K values are what is used to move high uncertainty accounts. Low uncertainty accounts properly placed are expected to hover in that range till the end of time as long as they reflect majority of players around them.
Instead of making balanced matches
Your using the result of a match, something that happens after MM is finished with its job. Every decision from the lobby to the final screen is a massive # of variables outside of system control. Again... A system that puts players in a box is a bad system to use.
That Vlad you complained about has been Bronze for years, the moment he abruptly started demolishing with champions he never played? Climbing the ladder rapidly. Why is the system ok with him climbing when prior to a month ago he has only ever been bronze, for years over several hundred games?
You have previously claimed being at X rank to long or To many games "Locks" you there and the system then try's to Force you to stay where it locked you . "push a player up and another player down based of what Riot thinks they should be" . I gave ya a 1k # games player who made it to Gold, The Vlads got 100's of floating games from Olaf. You can see my Bronze Season 1 Icon. 3 accounts that climbed which should not happen if this Forced system existed they way your describing it.
Actually picking the winners before champ select (% wise).
But WR is a weak metric for skill with out context. Attempting to balance WR does the exact opposite of what you want and impacts games negatively. If it try's to always balance 2 teams to 50% this is fucking good players over with bad teammates. your wr 70% = 30% wr teammate. The better your doing the heaver teammates become. That's Literally Rigged matchmaking.
If it just try's to balance WR, like team A has 57% then team B gets a 57% Nothing wrong with that but that's not rigged, its just a unrealistic expectation that MM could build a game flawlessly like this at any given minute for any given que.
(# of games is something that is important in a specific WR. 0% and 100% out of 1 game is not a strong value for skill. The exact (# of wins or losses cant be determined just by seeing a WR you need the # of games used for that rate, and Elo systems add the extra layer of context from who your playing. Like if the Elo gap in a 1v1 game is so high that you expect some one to never lose, they don't gain for beating the players you expect they will always crush. That's the We variable's impact on adjustments.
Lose a game Riot thinks you should have won and your next game will be easier. Win a game Riot thinks you should have lost and your next game will be stacked against you.
In a functional MMR system, if you lose a few games at your skill your expected to have easier games. If you win several off luck your expected to sink. If your skill represents the majority in your range then the more you slide out of that range the more your skill becomes a minority. It does not need to force anything because this will occur naturally even with RNG distribution.
So why the hell do they need to try to force something that would simply happen in a natural way?
FYI I know Riot system is like this. The game right after that one was a brainless free win for my team. Riot was compensating for the stomp from the smurf who they were boosting up the ladder.
Some one who takes over another players account is not a smurf. Its a TOS violation. Your free win you coasted, what impact did you personally have? Then The game after that game your 0-7-1, pretty low impact. What exactly about this shows its more the systems fault then your own playing?
You want to try and use subjective experiences? ok... Fine. Add me and we can play some games to take a look. If your constantly playing well that should be visible. If your above your rank in skill, above the average. I think that would show up better in your numbers on Op,GG. But you expressed a belief that your stats are due to teammates. Fine. Here is how we can check this, you can provide replays or your welcome to play with me because it would show up in your gameplay that your better then this "unfair" box Rito wants to keep you in. You said that your next game was a free win? Can you provide the replay for that game and the next one?
You can also just learn the concepts behind Elo's system and If you need any links to that let me know.
The forced 50%. The attitude behind it. Its just a new Elo hell excuse, and the more players that buy into it then use it to give up games results in the game being less fun. I hate having teammates roll over, I don't mind FF on a lost game. But when games get to the point they are unwinnable because some one is being a baby that they died 2 times in lane and throw the game it sucks fun out of the game for me. Regardless of teammate or enemy that behavior just makes a game less fun.
