Can you give us botlane's tower fortificaiton back?

That's all. I'm a bit tired of having mid/jg both camp my lane because, compared to every other, the tower is squishy. Oh, and it'd also help if there is a specific set of ADCs in said lane, the tower may as well not exist.

It also has the side-effect of reducing snowballing.

I personally thought the first tower gold was a big reason on snowballing, which could be the reason if not the main reason on why.
Another which could just prove how stupid and/or crazy I am but not going to lie as soon as the first tower gold meta/patch came out every champion felt 10X stronger on the offensive side of things, their abilities felt stronger and did more damage but their HP and armor felt weaker. It just seemed it to me.

Back to your point and argument; Riot is trying to speed up the game in a way to compete with Call of Duty and Overwatch. Those are two quick games in which people have/are going over to those instead. I don't know the #numbers or anything but games were around 40 mins for me on average back in 2014 but now games have been around the 25 min mark for the past year or so.

Good post, but Riot takes Q's from the LCS players and what they want, need so many arguments could be from Bjergsen, Jensen, and other pros instead of Riot themselves most times.

But literally no-one asked for the "sped-up" competitive Overwatch-League MOBA. The reason League was and is popular is because of the longer, drawn-out games. The complaints en-mass about how snowball-oriented it is should be a huge red flag to Riot, with the words "This isn't why we love League!" written in bold on it.

I agree I personally loved the 40+ min games in both playing them and watching them in the LCS it was more interesting to be apart of something that is exciting for 40+ mins oppose to 20 min stumps. However, there were about I would say 60% of the community that didn't want those drawn out games( I was not one of them). Look at most of this generation we want outcomes, winners faster and faster, games to be over with so we can find out who has won etc. You also look at around 2015 and in solo Q most of my games were around 43 mins and each time a game went beyond 35 mins someone did the ( surrender) because the game wasn't over at the 30 min mark.
League was once a strategic game, a fine restaurant if you will but now it's become a fast food - win within 20 mins type of game.
