Riot's balance team at it's finest

well the pro scene games are "too long" averaging 41 min in NA LCS, but Solo Q games in NA all average less than 30 min across every division. I'm sorry but cater to the people who are the masses. The LCS will never bring in as much money people buying skins. Now they want to make games even more snowball oriented. This is one of the times I really question riot. Almost every one of my games is either stomp the opponent or get stomped its really not much fun as last season.
LCS draws people to League, period. League was designed to be a competitive game.
The infamous "Runes Reforged" is the reason why we are in this mess in the first place.

No....league has been getting fucked by changes for the lcs since season 5-6, the runes actually stabilized the game (minus the shitty idea of klepto)

They stabilized and shook up the game, basically making no net change.
The positive part was condensing the runes and masteries and making them less convoluted, free-statish, and more meaningful.

Plus its alot harder to have runes you cant work with now (unlike before where a riven accidently took her full ap runes and was useless all game)

Depends on the champ, really, but generally, yes.
klepto was not a shitty idea, it was just ruined by a couple of people who abuse it.

People trying to win? how dare they.
ikr read what i posted above your comment...basically people do not know the difference between broken and strong. stro ng meaning both teams and all champs can do it, broken is where only like 1 person can do it, for instance ludens ekko on ez,( his q can proc it now)
klepto was not a shitty idea, it was just ruined by a couple of people who abuse it.
It was pretty bad, the gold gain from it is actually unfair, (ive gotten 400 gold in 2 minutes), On top of that it legit broke some champs (Draven can hit full build by 15 minutes now, while most ppl are half way through their second item) the gold should have been capped at 15 per proc, not up to 100, dont get me wrong, the consumables were a great idea, but the gold bags need to go
umm its not broken .........do you understand the difference between broken and strong? when something is broken it means only 1 team and 1 person can use it .....if all teams can use something it is not broken.....for example i like to go shen supp or skarner supp, so with that on shen i like to get hextech protobelt and you may think its dumb but lets go further, on my 2nd runes i will always take transcendence and gathering storm for the adaptive lets go further since that is my only ap item im literally able to get close o 200 pluus if not more off of 1 ap item....ie strong, or before they took ruby ss passive away i was able to literallly spam item actives because with ruby ss and bounty hunter i was at like 70% cdr on item actives....ie strong not broken. are you understanding the difference

When rune pretty much outclasses the rest, its broken and needs to be brought in line
again there is a difference between strong and broken. If every champ can use it take it then its not broken its just strong.....
LCS absolutely do not draw people into league. What draw people into league is whether or not the game is fun. If you think "competitiveness" is what draw people to LoL then I will point out SC2. SC2 on release is the most competitive game to have ever existed. Spoiler: It did not turn out well for it.
I legit have gotten bored of competitive/norms simply because of how predictable and quick it's gotten.
Last season was shit as well for anyone not maining ADC or Support. The mentality that its a teamgame 1 shit player will ruin the game but 1 skilled player cant carry what makes this horrible experience.
umm seeing ive carried many games as alisar and skarner supp i beg to differ
"There is no way they are going to make turrets even worse!"
Riot: "Hold my beer, brah"

It's the PBE. It's not live servers. It's a place to test balance changes to see what works and what doesn't. Ultimately, this is to help the very very late game to not be a stalemate. They already nerfed this on the PBE anyway
Back in the 1830's that is what we did, now days they slap changes with them going through and then nerfing something random after (like banner) saying it was the problem.
No it's sole purpose is to find bugs.
Is that why they make daily changes to champion and item numbers? Finding bugs is one purpose but far from the sole purpose. New champions, jungle camps, reworked champions, new items, old items, and runes are all affected at some point by the PBE. They put changes to these things on the PBE when they choose then have PBE testers test them, looking for outstanding issues including bugs and number issues. After two weeks of content being on the PBE, they do one of two things with everything that was tested. They either send it to live servers or take it off the PBE and put it in the next PBE cycle for further testing (e.g. Rengar's Q changes were on the PBE last cycle but needed more balance work).
The "new" baron buff doesnt even do anything until 30 minutes in. Your post is irrelevant.
I forgot after 30 minutes magic damage becomes physical damage
.... What? The new baron buff only increases barons damage after 30 mins. Also this video is drastically misleading. Its nearly 30 mins into the game and shows the minion killing the outer turret. Anyone can kill the outermost turrets in 4 seconds at 30 mins with or without baron. The outermost turrets are paper.
OP is complaining about games ending prior to 30 mins, which this change literally does not affect in any way.
You do know people can still buy banner to amplify it further, as the video shows right?
They can do that now.
But we don't currently have buffed baron minions
The buff only exists post 27 mins. If your first tower exists after 27 minutes, anyone will 2 shot it. And post 27 mins baron is supposed to be a game ender.
Did you stop watching after the first tower?
I am slowly becoming more and more assured that the Riot balance team is just a group of really smart people....that don't play league of legends at all.
My only question is why care? For how many years go by stressing out over the game knowing they don't really care what you think, and they will do what they want then why care? Just play and if you lose so what. Nothing is going to change so at least play how you want. Don't care.
True...true...
It's because the LCS players are smarter. They know a single kill will snowball a lane that they don't even try to trade too hard. I would enjoy watching a 40+ minute LCS game, because the pressure would mount. Watching both teams to see which one will screw up first and cost the team 2 towers. The pressure is a lot more real in the LCS then solo que.
I do love 5 people doing nothing for 30 minutes
I do love 5 people doing nothing for 30 minutes
especially because "theyre smarter"
When more often than not these random LCS players were absolute nobodies prior to their league career, literally fail highschool etc.
So are most athletes... the only reason any of them have degrees is the colleges usually hand them to them on a silver platter.
No ones got time to study when you want to be the best at anything.
No, if you look at the LCS player accounts when they aren't playing playing professionally, game times are much shorter. Pro games are longer because no one wants to put themselves in a position where they could lose the game, which also means that they dont put themselves in a position to win the game. Game times are longer because they dont want to lose that one game, in regular play they can just just hit play again.
What are they doing to TP?
They believe it's a negative influencer on the game and are thinking of removing or mitigating its impact
So top get's bent over and railed yet again. Makes me wanna give it up now to be honest.

Just play cho or nasus, as long as your team isnt legit stupid, they scale into monsters by 20 minutes
Nasus is fun but I enjoy Singed.
1 min channel [slayer-jinx-wink]
sigh...
The thing that blows my mind the most about everyone on this game that hates riots choices. Is people don't come together to force them to change. No one try's to get a group of people to send letters. No one gets together and start a website for people who don't like where league is going. I mean last I checked if enough people come together with there dislike with things stuff can happen. We have seen enough people get scared when the see there sales drop or less people play. Its just shocking so many years pass and yet no one forms a group. Lol. Amazing.
Cuz 90% of the playerbase don't care since they only play casually. Giant severs like china are fine with what they are doing since they cater towards them. Whenit's about balance pretty much only toplane is in a shit spot and assassins. A very small group in a very small group- Just look at reddit saying everything is fine toplaner everyone who complains is just bad.
I mean I stopped letting the game bug me, and I stopped caring on how I play. I just play when bored. But it still is amazing seeing what people say, but don't try to do something about it by working together. But hey. That's the world right? People stating stuff is just what we do. No one does stuff.
umm your usuing banner of command and are level 18 with nunu who can buff cs....... also he has baron........
