Gnar needs more nerfs

I was playing Teemo. I started dark seal and went 4/0 against a gnar in lane. He comes back to lane after the 4th death and rushing a banshees veil, and kills me. This is a problem. This should not happen. This is clearly an unbalanced champion. I stomp him. He doesn't get kills anywhere else. We had both just bought, i had poked him a little before the fight, he didn't land his wall stun, I used my hextech gunblade active, I ignited him, I blinded him when he was close enough to auto, and he still killed me. He should not have been able to 1v1 me after feeding me 4 kills, and the fact that he did after feeding me just serves to prove this point: that he is op.

Gnar is in a fine spot right now. Frozen mallet, however, needs a nerf.

Gnar will outscale Teemo. His base damages are fair, and rushing HP/MR vs Teemo was a very smart idea. I don't see anything inherently broken with gnar, it's when he rushes a frozen mallet and you can't get away from him that the problems begin.

he didn't have frozen mallet. he had phage and banshees and boots. I had hextech gunblade, codex dark seal, corrupting potion, and sorc shoes. im not against him outscaling teemo later in the game, but lvl 10 is kinda unfair when he did that bad in lane. Shouldn't I have time to take advantage of doing well against him?

It sounds like you underestimated gnar and died because of it. Having 4 kills to his 0 doesn't mean anything. You're complaining because a gnar that built MR didn't die when you built AP.

he didn't outplay me tho. He missed his rock and his ult completely. If he had hit those and killed me, it would be ok, but he didn't.

also I had 20 something magic pen too.

Lmao gnar has a 45% winrate. He is FAR from being op. He is a well balanced champion with a complex kit that allows for skilled players to outplay noobs. Git gud.

It doesn't matter. You let him get in on you. Learn to use an advantage accordingly. Being 4/0 doesn't mean u can just faceroll into him.

He is trying to make is you understand you underestimated Gnar. As a Gnar main.. I know Gnar still can still shit on Teemo even if he gets behind as he has good burst on his mega. Also dont forget Teemo is like around one of the 10 top most squishy champs in the game. it's so easy to burst him.

I know this as I main him to. Too easy in fact... it's some of the reasons why he cant team fight. He pops to damn easy & sure doesnt help in this season where damage is just simply too high.

Imagine going 4/0 against a zed pre 6, at 6 all he has is dirk, he ults you and you die, even though you were at full health. That shouldn't happen.

Again... Damage is very high this season.. it's a well known fact... & teemo is very well known to be one of the most squishy champs in the game.

Defense Items are stronger this season to make up for that, banshees veil really does triples down on your Magic damage. it's the strongest Magic defense item in the game. thus, your gunblade life steal is less than half effective on him.

Thing is, banshees veil triples down on your damage. Barrier, HP and Mr all make him harder to drop. You are teemo, no defense or Max HP. I can definitely see how he would turn the tables on you.
