Why do I feel like the only one who thinks this game is exceptionally balanced right now?

Genuinely can't think of many broken elements to the game. Top lane is seeing a lot more bruisers have impact as well as tanks. Mid lane has a huge champion pool to pick from right now in the meta. Jungle is also popping off with both tank and assassin junglers being viable and bot lane is in a great spot.

Really don't understand the recent complaints i'm seeing. Barring the few overtuned champions like Swain for example, this game is as balanced as i've ever remembered it being but listening to this board, you would still think Zed/yasuo are busted (despite both being shit right now) and you would think that a solo lane should have more impact than a duo lane.

Really feels like i'm playing a different game.

I don't think it's balanced, exactly. It just feels like we...basically have an overflow. It's so unbalanced that it's become balanced.

All the unbalanced-ness has essentially canceled itself out.

You feel like you're the only one because not that many people actually think this is a good season for balance, and the bar was already pretty low with season 7.

There's just so much asscancer coming out of top and jungle right now. A solo lane should have more impact than a duo lane because the solos are 1-3 levels up on the duo. ADCs are snowballing too hard, but I will agree that it's a lot more action-packed to play in bot these days. The problem there is how quickly it goes from good fights to completely dominating every all-in you can force.

Its been rewarded to find and complain about something by the community so even when things get to a healthy point folks hunt for anything they can find because they are trained to look for it.

Overall, I think it's in a fairly good place. I am a bit upset (and just made a thread about it, in fact) that nearly all caster champs feel gimped when trying to build offtank. A couple of seasons ago (and even further back into the game's history) you were able to give up your damage/healing potency and build something like item 3025 + item 3065 + item 3083 to not be a full tank, but at least take a couple of hits while doing some decent damage and laying down crowd control.

Several champions are doing ridiculous levels of damage right now with only 2-3 items and I don't fault them for being able to implode squishies, but a squishy giving up damage/healing effectiveness and building offtank to simply not die in the blink of an eye really so bad it should be so completely ineffective?
