That's one way to phrase it. The other way to phrase it is "why do both solo lanes feel less impactful than the duo lane?" This takes out the very obvious difference in player count per lane, and puts proper focus on the one lane that people view as a problem.

I don't necessarily agree that bot is overly impactful, but we can word things in a way that doesn't insult a large portion of people who want to talk about it.

Anyone who says that solo lanes have little to no affect on the game's outcome is lying or they completely suck at roaming. Mid and jungle can decide the way that bot lane goes and most toplaners can be highly impactful later in the game with splitpushing or teamfighting prowess.

There is a difference between bot deciding games and centering your strategy around bot lane. It may seem like a minor difference, but it is not.
