Like, Edge of Night fucks him unbelievably hard. Hourglass is already really good against him, but it's balanced out by being on a very long cooldown, which means that if you or a teammate can force them to pop it you have a solid window to ult them.
Edge of Night has a 30 second cooldown.
I vote for removing Edge of Night tbh lol.
Just nerf edge of night. The item is super cost effective without even including the shield.

You have to be really careful about buffing karthus.
In the right hands hes a fucking insane champion. Even with all the cockblocks to his ult.
why karthus? every mage I know that isn't viktor, who just sits at towers and clears waves post 1250 gold, is done if this item gets implemented
maybe that's meddler's fantasy for mages, just sit at mid tower and farm waves, the mage fantasy
edge of night also only blocks one spell and taking any damage at all cancels the channel and puts it on full CD

Easy. Make Karthus' ult have to channel for only 1 second to make it impossible to use Edge of Night in time to block it. Not sure why it channels for so long anyways.
