Is there any rework scheduled for Pantheon?

I really hope Riot hasn't decided that Pantheon should be one of those "point-and-click" champions that should stay in the game the way they are (kinda like Annie) for overall balance purpose. He could really use a fresher kit with more modern mechanics.

Personally I'd just be happy if he became one of those classic item 3077 item 3071 bruisers à la Kled/Fiora with "utility" AD ratios (shields, heals, non-flat-physical damage), interesting kits and a decent scaling curve.

I could see him being a "shapeshifter" champ swapping from Javelin to Sword (both Melee), respectively for a [poke/lane-bully, siege/anti-siege] and a [close-quarters, prolonged skirmish, missing%hp execution] playstyle with pathetic teamfighting, AoE agency and subpar mobility.

Hi guys. Pantheon is my main and even tho he is good and can carry a game easely, I still think he needs a rework wich will make his play style more suitable for his character. Here I want to discuss his skills as well as his art in game. The thing I am still working on are the numbers (cooldown, damage, etc.) so this is a general idea. I will be working on this until Pantheon gets his official rework.

He should stay an assassin, that is the role that fits him the most! !

His passive can remain the same since it suits his spartan-hooplite style Aegis Protection After landing 4 basic attacks or abilities, Pantheon blocks the next incoming basic attack from an enemy champion, large minion, large monster, or the next incoming shot from a turret.

Q Spear Shot RANGE: 600 COST: 45 MANA COOLDOWN: 4 ACTIVE: Pantheon hurls his spear at the target enemy, dealing them physical damage. 「 PHYSICAL DAMAGE: 65 / 105 / 145 / 185 / 225 (+ 140% bonus AD) 」 Spear Shot can Critical strike for 50% bonus damage. I think here we have some room for improvement. Here goes.. Besides his shield and spear I think Pantheon needs a sword. So we can make the cooldown on spear shot longer, but after cast Pantheon draws his sword and uses it until spear shot gets off cooldown. With his sword pantheon has a greater attack speed and critical strike chance, but lower lethality and base damage. So basically he keeps his spear shot, but after that hi uses a sword for the cooldown duration which affects his E (we'll get there in a bit).

W Aegis of Zeonia RANGE: 600 COST: 55 MANA COOLDOWN: 13 / 12 / 11 / 10 / 9 ACTIVE: Pantheon dashes to the target enemy, dealing them magic damage, stunning them for 1 second, and activating Aegis Protection. MAGIC DAMAGE: 50 / 75 / 100 / 125 / 150 (+ 100% AP) **What I had in mind with his W is that it should be AD or %HP based not AP, and make a few usage modifications. There should be 2 ranges on his W, the total range for the dash and a smaller close range. When targeting an enemy which is outside the small range his W is the same but when inside the smaller range, instead of dashing Pantheon hits the enemy with his shield stunning and knocking him/her back for a bit. ** E Heartseeker Strike RANGE: 600 COST: 45 / 50 / 55 / 60 / 65 MANA COOLDOWN: 10 / 9 / 8 / 7 / 6 PASSIVE - CERTAIN DEATH: Pantheon's basic attacks and Spear Shot.png Spear Shot Critical strike icon critically strike all enemies below 15% maximum health. ACTIVE: Pantheon channels for 0.75 seconds, dealing physical damage to all enemies in a cone in front of him (reduced to 60% against non-champions) at 0.25 seconds intervals. 「 PHYSICAL DAMAGE PER STRIKE: 26 / 43 / 60 / 76 / 93 (+ 100% bonus AD) 」 「 PHYSICAL DAMAGE PER STRIKE TO NON-CHAMPIONS: 16 / 26 / 36 / 46 / 56 (+ 60% bonus AD) 」 **His E would stay the same when he is using his spear, but when using his sword he would get a new skill. The cooldown of that skill is reseted after spear shot (like Jayce) so you can use a W-E-Q-E combo. The new skill would be "Finishing leap" Pantheon leaps to the targeted location striking any enemy nearbuy with his sword dealing critical damege. **

R Grand Skyfall RANGE: 5500 / 700 COST: 100 MANA COOLDOWN: 150 / 135 / 120 ACTIVE: Pantheon begins channeling and, after 2 seconds, leaps into the air and becomes untargetable. He then blinks to the target location and plummets down, striking after 1.5 seconds and becoming targetable once more. Enemies within the impact zone take magic damage, increased by up to 100% based on their proximity to the epicenter, and are Slow icon slowed by 35% for 1 second. 「 MINIMUM MAGIC DAMAGE: 200 / 350 / 500 (+ 50% AP) 」 Grand Skyfall's cooldown is reduced to 30 seconds if the channel is interrupted and/or canceled. His R should definitely do AD and not magic damage. The range should be increased. Here comes the biggest change. Pantheon plums down with spirits of his fallen brothers. At level 1 , 2 spirits(1 on his left and one on his right side) at Level 2 , 4 spirits( 2+2) and level 3 , 6 spirits (3+3). Those spirits can only exist in a limited area around the impact point of the ult. At first Pantheon and his allys form a phalanx( some special changes for this formation are a work in progress, like the + and – effects to Pantheons deff and off stats. ) While in that state movement speed is lowered but deff stats are higher. His QWE abilities are replaced with commands for his allys. The spirits deal a %of pantheons damage and have a % of his health. When R is pressed again Pantheon and his allys break formation, in that case all spirits can use the same abilities as Pantheon but with lowered %dmg and effects(Pantheons QWE return to his normal skills). The spirits (ally hoplite, call them as you wish) last for a certain amount of time, and disappear if pantheon exits the limited area .
