Why doesn't Gangplank's passive DoT count for Cassio's E? (is it flavour, or balance?)

I wouldn't ask this if the DoT didn't use the same graphic effect of Teemo/Singed/Cassio's poison, but since it does, I'm left to wonder. It would be nice if they had this sinergy since I love both of them (Cassio and GP). Then again, I guess GP's rework might alter his passive so it's just a guess for guessing.

Because the Grog isn't poison, it's alco- oh. Never mind.

It's old code combined with laziness. Don't worry, they're effectively deleting Cassiopeia next patch. And so my champ pool becomes smaller by the day.

It´s poison! xD No for real - everything listed as "poison" in this Game works with Cassio, things like: Teemo - E,R Singed - Q GP - Passive Twitch? - not sure, but i guess it should work And even GROMP! (DId i miss one?)

GP's passive does not work with Cassio's E. Why? No clue, pretty sure it's just an oversight. It works with everything else you listed though.

Im like 90% sure it doesnt work with Twitch poison, since the poison is different then the others.

GP's poison doesn't work with Cassio. You can read it on the Wikia too.
