Losing faith in Rito's balance
I hardly ever criticize Rito for the way they handle the game since most of the time I agree with their philosophy, but recently it seems they're making serious ->predictable<- messes and goofily fixing them up. I mean, how couldn't they foresee the way Warlord's Bloodlust would be exploited by early crit-champs? Or the way Fervor of Battle would give insane laning advantages to certain champs in a weakly interactive pattern? Or how Deathfire Touch would mess things up for certain champs with extreme synergies? (they actually spoke about Brand but didn't do anything preemptively) Or how over the top Graves' damage was that they had to hotfix it, although PBE had made it clear before his release? Not to mention the fact that SS+RapidFire would become the way-to-go for ADCs killing all the variety they wanted to promote with the damage multiplying items. (although this seems less predictable than the aforementioned issues) But most of all, the removal of Last Whisper and the status of Armor Penetration, that they are now trying to patch up with buffs after buffs to champs that relied on it and with the release of new items to effectively replace it. Like, how couldn't they see this in advance?
And I'm only quoting the most obvious ones. I mean, most of them were predictable even by us lowtown scrubs, how couldn't they with 5 years of balancing on their shoulders?
is one item that NEEDS to be nerfed.
on release, i doubt they listen to much PBE feedback in terms of balance. Also it seems they are going for the balancing philosophy "When everything is overpowered, then nothing is".
cough

had a soaring popularity and pick rate? it was NOT because the champion was overpowered or even strong, it was simply because people liked ezreals playstyle as it was very unique compared to the rest of the champ pool at the time. now we have champs like
