Trying to understand what i could do better in this game

But its a little hard to because I started the game 3/0 as teemo supp but my adc couldn't dodge fucking thresh hooks so we lost lane and game.

Stop keeping up this fallacy that you could have done something better every game.

here are a list of things you could have done differently

  1. counter thresh hooks by playing blitz and win the game with blitz grabs
  2. ban thresh in champ select.
  3. pick thresh before your opponent does.
  4. have one of your team mates pick thresh and trade with you.
  5. dodge the game after your opponent selects thresh.

approx. 100% guaranteed to have won you the game approx. 50% of the time

the issue wasn't thresh. It was that my adc was shit. Thresh didn't need to be banned.

Well for one, Teemo is an awful support. His blind is the only support-esque thing he has in his kit. If you had picked someone like Leona or Braum, if your ADC got hooked you could go in and disable the enemy ADC, thus preventing your own ADC from taking a bunch of damage. As it is now, all you could do was blind the adc (doesn't stop his abilities) and and hope you could out damage them when your ADC wasn't disabled anymore, but by that point he was probably too low to make it a worthy fight.

teemo provides ranged poke and can deny the enemy farm, and has built in ward and the blind on a q max first (which I was) is good enough time for most adcs to get away early, or even win the trade. With the q I could prevent him from taking a bunch of damage by disabling the enemy adc with a blind, which stops the majority of their damage. for about 2 seconds

Teemo is a fine support. The issue was the adc. You wouldn't have said this if I was playing janna or soraka, so it isn't a good argument here either.

If you were playing Janna or Soraka, you would have had tools to deal with the ADC getting caught. Janna peel and shield, or Soraka heal and silence+root; all of which can rescue a grabbed ADC in lane. All Teemo can do is shoot darts and hope for the best.

If you want a Support to play poke and farm denial, play Zilean. Placing high-damage time bombs on the ground keeps enemies zoned from farm, and if they opt to take the bomb to get farm, you get the option of stunning them, which will block damage more effectively than a blind. You also come with the ability to dramatically slow an enemy or massively speed up your ADC in a pinch, and if they get caught, you can bring them back from death with your ult. His passive also allows it so you can grant levels to either your ADC or Jungler, and snowball them faster.

Zilean will bring just as much damage potential as Support Teemo, while also bringing more tools to protect an ADC. Teemo needs a lane to farm in to get the items he needs to be really effective.

I would though. A ranged poke that can deny the enemy farm, sure. But is blind isn't really all that effective at doing it because again they can just cast an ability. His shrooms aren't really wards because they don't reveal the same area a ward does. A blind might disable the enemies AA for a short while, but that's ALL it does. They can still dish out damage via abilities, they can still close the distance to continue dishing out damage as the blind ends. It just doesn't work as good as a stun, knock-up, snare etc.

You can blame your ADC all you want, but it won't ever make you a better play. I find that in League no matter what happens you can't ever blame anyone else. Your ADC keeps getting caught by hooks, what can you do? As Teemo you can't peel, you can't sustain your ADC, all you can do is damage... But that's not the point. There's STILL something you can improve on. Watch your replay, see what mistakes you made and ask yourself what you should do to prevent those mistakes in the future. If you look at your replay and all you say is "not my fault, not my fault, not my fault" you aren't ever going to get anywhere.

If you blame yourself when it's not your fault youre being stupid. A pro once told me play with the "charity principle".

Respond to this with the charity principle

The issue was you picking Teemo, doesn't matter if you're 3/0. A Supports job is to protect the ADC. Yes, there are 'carry' supports like Zyra, Zilean, and Lux who do a lot of damage, but they also have abilities to protect the ADC from harm.

You weren't able to do that, and that's what you should have done differently - pick a different champion.

How? If he wont play safely? If I were playing janna or raka you wouldn't say this, so why are you saying it now? Pick a relevant argument.

I think I know why yall lost. Teemo supp is beyond the most useless pick I have ever seen. Teemo brings nothing to the table as a support. Hell, he barely brings anything as a solo laner.
