Why does Yorick Maiden have infinite duration?

Annie Tibbers lasts for like 40 seconds. I think Ivern Daisy lasts for similar time. But Yorick can keep the Maiden out permanently until it is dead, and the Maiden doesn’t act dumb compared to the other two.

If I’m playing melee champion, how am I supposed to kill the Maiden especially in the late game when it has like 7000HP. It is like trying to 1V2 all game in lane and you have to stand there as Yorick takes tower after tower. You cannot fight back.

OK so I guess you don't play Annie, Ivern, or Yorick. Saying Maiden is smarter than both of them, and what's more that Tibbers and Daisy are even comparable, is absurd.

Tibbers is fully player controlled until Annie dies, so it does exactly what you tell it to. It is, by far, the best behaved summoned unit. Daisy has a very annoying AI that ovverides every other command with "Return to Ivern". Easily tied with Morde for "Worst AI". Maiden isn't as moronic as Daisy/Morde Ghost, and she's actually pretty good if Yorick is trying to run you down... but that's all she's good at. If you're just trying to lane, she will just commit suicide.

Also, Rank 3 Maiden is a completely different deal than Rank 1/2 Maiden. Sure, it's has tons of HP at max rank. At rank 1/2, it'll only have ~900/1800 HP. Oh, and it also has 0 Armor/MR and no HP regen at all.

Because the maiden doesnt scale well and none of yoricks minions have a duration? Honestly its nice QoL.

I'm guessing you've just had a bad game against Yorick? Duuuddeee, just play hyper carries like Jax or Yi. They outscale him.

lets say tibbers or daisy is permanent for annie its more a nerf than a benefit sure tibbers is good and all but his main power is being a nuke with rapid punches after stunning them after that is childs play i mean theres no point in targetting tibbers if you can kill annie herself after she ults. her ult is the reason why people keep at range from her besides her AOE W. while daisy has that surprise factor that changes a team battle. with knock ups. now yorick themeatically it makes more sense after all tibbers uses life energy daisy gets tired then sleeps while the maiden is the mist that doesnt sleep or get tired. take the maiden away and put her on a timer it will gut yoricks combat capability his power revolves around attacking with the maiden/ghouls.
