SERIOUS INQUIRY ABOUT *LOW ELO* PREMADE MATCHMAKING (PLZ RESPOND)

I'm trying to climb out of bronze. As you can imagine, some games are incredibly painful to play. My question is regarding how the matchmaking system works for premade groups in low elo.

I know that the way the system used to work was as follows- Premades are essentially matched up against better players to make up for the communication given through playing with people you know. This puts solo players on their team at a disadvantage considering they will (A) not have the same communication as the premade, (B) also be pitted against better players because of the premade advantage, and (C) increases the chances of being flamed by the premade group for making mistake(s).

I don't know if that has changed, however. If it has changed as this isn't applicable anymore, please let me know. HOWEVER, if it has not changed, I must further my question.

Does this apply to low elo (bronze, silver-ish) and if so- WHY?!?!? Just because two bronze players are premade does NOT mean that it gives the team this huge advantage. I had a duo bot last game where each player was very low bronze, each had a VERY negative W/L ratio and neither seemed to know what they were doing. Long story short, out bottom lane was 0/15 by like 15 minutes and as you can imagine, the enemy MF had no mercy. Also, I was pitted against a player who absolutely dominated the lane, it didn't feel like an evenly skilled matchup at all. It was quite miserable and I don't find anything balanced about the idea of being put against more experienced players all because of 2 newer players duo-queing in ranked. I'm sorry, but I don't.

So yeah, TL;DR- Should premades impact the matchmaking in low elo in the same way that it does in high elo, if any at all? I personally think no, I'd love to hear your opinions and voices. Thank you for reading.

Love, A Bronze Shyvana
