I had a premade ask me and when I said no they demanded and banned the champ I hovered over and said "Still going top?" to which I replied yes and said I was going to play a champ I wanted banned. I wasn't really going to play Swain, but that's a free ban so I could play Jax :^)

Well, it'd be pretty pathetic to queue for a role that you only had one champion you were willing to play in that role, anyway. What were you planning to do if the other team banned or picked away?

I understand why people get salty about friendly fire bans, it really is a dick move, but you should have enough of a champion pool to be able to handle having your favorite champion(s) banned. By EITHER team.

erm, no. I'm EXTREMELY generous in exchanging roles. 9/10 if they ask nicely I'll say yes. This particular game, I wanted to play AD so I declined. they locked in cait anyways. Long story short, caitlyn top didn't work and we ff'd at 20. Not to mention that the support player was EXTREMELY new, unfroze my lane constantly and took a /lot/ of cs throughout the game. I assumed they were just trolling me for keeping my role at that point. Either way, just because you're boosting someone doesn't mean that you're always going to get your role, and when you don't you can't throw a tantrum. It's NOT my fault that I was put as adc, it's NOT being stubborn if I was given a role that I wanted to play, and I'm NOT letting people bully me over a game just because they're man-children.

Amen, and I personally wish I could trust people I am trading with to do it, I have done it about 10 times and 9/10 was a loss because they failed at it.., so be careful who you trade what with.

I'm sorry, but the world doesn't operate in this way. The role selection is there for a reason, and if you select two roles and get the one that wasn't your first pick, you need to choke down your pride and you need to deal with the fact that someone else got the role you didn't get. You can ask nicely, but if they decline, you can either throw a fit and act childish, or you can play what you were given and try to win the game. The guy who declines to trade roles with someone is not obligated to give up his role, and anyone who contests this and suddenly tilts is an asshat and shouldn't be playing with other people if they can't learn to be a team player and accept what they are given.

Once YOU grow up, you'll realize that 95% of the world doesn't actually give a crap about any of that. Especially the people you are likely to deal with on a daily basis.

No one in the real world cares about popularity. It means dick all.

No one cares about who you are connected to as an adult, they care about YOU. Unless you are in some job interview or something, this means literally nothing to 99.9% of people.

You're right; you don't have to. But are you really gonna be that guy that is too stubborn to swap roles with a premade duo bot or duo top/jg? You'd rather mess up a bot lane that can communicate well and possibly win lane or a jg/top/mid that could communicate ganks easily? Just so you can be your role? Obviously there are lots of bad premades, but in the end it's better for the team to be in roles where multiple players can communicate well. You'd rather sacrifice that than suck it up and have a better chance of winning? Oh wait yeah you're bronze 3.
