PSA ABOUT "OFF META" SUPPORTS

This post isn't attacking anyone who tries out or enjoys playing off meta supports. Support ? Stuns for days. Support ? Get that out, boy. I LOVE seeing innovative and new, exciting champions being played in a role primarily focused around utility.

H O W E V E R

If you DO decide to play an off meta support, PLEASE don't flame your ADC for your shortcomings. There's a reason that the enemy has 20 cs over your AD, and that reason is or or or any other shield/heal oriented utility support that allows them to safely walk up and farm.

You don't offer the same safety net if you're playing, for example, support. Your AD is playing at a disadvantage the moment you lock in a champion who excels situationally in the bottom lane. If you can't set up ganks, don't expect your jungler to camp your lane either.

I'm not trying to be rude with this post, I genuinely enjoy occasionally playing random champions in the support role just to make it spicy. But too often, I encounter people flaming the ADC for being behind when they have to basically 1v2 their lane for the first 12 minutes of the game. Hope this post is clear and concise, feel free to expand this opinion or offer your own.
