The PERFECT Quinn fix

How about this change for Quinn.... So her ult's design is to get onto a target, use that atk speed and close range blind, get them low with some fast autos, and delete them with her execution R. This works fine for isolated targets, but in a 5v5 scenario, its really tough to get in and get out safely. I know you can R mid E to use the skystrike while still vaulting away, but the problem is that you are not then utilizing the atk speed steroid of valor or the guaranteed aoe blind. Also, since you are using skystrike early in this case, you are not getting the maximum execute dmg.

So I just thought of something I think would be perfect to give her that little bump into the next level while still retaining her current strengths and weaknesses and ability to be played in multiple lanes/roles:

"If Skystrike successfully executes a target, Vault's cooldown is reset."

This doesn;t add too much excessive power to her, but when timed right and played well, it allows her to shift into Valor with R, E onto her target, AA,Q,AA,AA,AA,..R execute target, and then reset her E to use as an escape/re-positioning tool. I think it rewards her for choosing her target correctly and using good timing on her execute, without leaving her overly vulnerable. Her ult CD can be kept the same, but now she has a way to get in AND out a la Assassin, and stay relevant for the rest of the fight.

The perfect quinn fix is making her aa projectile work the way it's supposed to. after they do that and we see how she is, then let's talk about changes.

her ult is an assassination/roaming ultimate. I think it's design is really cool and useful despite not being a great teamfight tool. My only issue which stops me from playing her is that she just feels clunky on her vault and AA animations, in addition to her harrier proc acting weird about 1/3 of the time.

Also two other major bugs need to be fixed with her besides the AA fix, which i don;t think would be a major game changer as i don't feel its that big a deal. The change I mentioned is a much bigger gameplay fix to her kit without becoming OP.

So bugfixes:

1 - AA

2 - An eneymy Yasuo should not be able to ult me just cause I use my vault. He should only be able to use his ult when the airborne status was caused by his knockup or another allied displacement. If yasuo is on the enemy team you literally can't ever use that skill around him...

3- Flashes and dashes mid vault. Traveling with your target that flashes is one thing, but it seems that during a flash the orientation angle that you bounce off is wildly erratic. I don't have video unfortunately, so I will try and describe as best I can with compass directions. I'm coming from the river to an enemy in bot lane (I'm blue side). I am NW of him, i use vault which should make me travel SE to my target then bounce back to where i came from NW. However, mid vault, he flashes to the NE toward his tower. My vault follows him, but then i bounce off straight south, completely out of position and practically the opposite direction of where vault would have put me had he not flashed.... I'm sure there is very complicated coding going on here, but it seems like while the flash is already going to displace me from where i thought i would land, i should still land in the DIRECTION i thought i was going to be vaulting back toward.

@ironstylus you designed my favorite champion, can you help give her some much needed QoL updates and please, oh please, consider my E reset proposition above (only when skystrike executes someone)

I've been asking for cooldown resets via her ultimate for a while now... I really wish they would do this. I want them to take it one step further... not fully reset Vault, but just global cooldown resets for all skills across the board.

I think you should get kill resets whenever valor gets a kill, period. Not just on execute.

Think about this situation: multiple enemies scattered near each other, all around 50-60% HP. How could Quinn clean them up in Valor assassin form?

She could ult in as valor, dive one champ, take them out... then what? Now she's waiting on cooldowns and she's still in valor form... so what... you just fly around in circles waiting for your cooldowns? Awkward. I've done this more times than I can count. It's really annoying.

Instead, I would love if they would treat Valor like most of the other assassins in the game. Get a kill as Valor, cooldowns reduce greatly... This way you can then speed over to the next target and immediately wreck them too.

I'd say it'd be a little OP.

Imagine Master Yi having cooldown resets on his q everytime he kills someone in ult form. Ouch.

Even worse, she's always able to do something in the teamfight. She can poke, deal damage from range, or assassinate, just that she isn't good at anyone of them. Making her assasinating potential too high would be a little bad imo.

My suggestion would be to make Valor's Blinding Assault as a dash and aoe blind (like Valor does it in Quinn form) so you can save her Vault to jump out of a teamfight.

Quinn seems, IMO, to be a different class of ADC and one of the ways she does this is that she doesn't use her ult in the same way. The 'rhythm' of her abilities are a bit different. You wouldn't want to use her ult in the middle of a 5v5 fight. Even with the AS buff it makes you a melee champion (now without Vault) so you are subject to all the pitfalls that come with it. Her ult is more for either getting To, or Away, from danger or chasing down isolated targets. Also it does wonders against towers.. but she shouldn't be popping her ult in the middle of a 5v5.

Just my opinion though. If there was going to be a change to Quinn I think she should have a more interact passive than just a timer. Having something like her W marks enemies revealed in the FoW, etc.

i do feel that her vault checks the location and direction of the target (facing) so in the case of the NW example, say ez was facing east and flashes left back to blue tower, your vault would say he is facing east you are coming from the nw so if it connects you return to where you were, but by flashing the position is altered to a pint they face west, flipping the destination point to south. Idk but thats what i feel is got out of the skill.
