More seriously, why not? It procs multiple times on most DoT. Is it because it's manaless? IMO, that shouldn't matter, because teemo's AA range is so short, he needs to put himself in danger to use it.
I'm not looking for teemo buffs; nobody wants to see more of teemo. I'm just wondering why spellthief's is inconsistent in this one case.

Fisk4 votesIt doesn't proc because its not technically a spell that can be "applied" since its just an aa steriod. If they let it apply it, it would be broken as teemo could permaslow you with rylais and then get the extra damage on liandry's and you would just sit there and cry until he killed you xD

, and Spellvamp). DoT on Teemo's E doesn't trigger either of them.

I think what I was confused about was that, on release, the description read, *"Dealing damage *to an enemy champ..."
I don't know if it's true any more, but... fun fact: ignite used to proc spellthief's stacks.
