I think that SotD could return, but with a different buildpath and a different active, it's mechanics made it unviable.

Example: + +

New Stats: 30% CRIT, 30% AS, 15 AD **New Passive: **Your Attacks deal 20 bonus physical damage on-hit and each consecutive AA on the same target add's 5 bonus damage to this effect, this damage can crit. (Half of this damage for Hurricane's Bolts). **New Active: ** Increase your attack speed by 100% for 3 attacks and doubles this item on-hit effect.

Yeap, it is better to rework them and make them viable. I think it is insulting to see items removed. In the other hand I believe Hearth of Gold could return too, mainly because if you are on the red team you can see it on the shop model xD as an easter egg :v (search for it, and you will find it, it is within the barrels).

I find it sort of funny how they're deleting items instead of reworking them. League is criticized on how it has so few items, and it's just complimenting that by taking more away. What I'm wondering is why they haven't implemented negative effects into their items yet. You'd have a lot of room to work if you added that.

It could be good, but they haven't. They are not really creative when it comes to create new items, but when it comes to skins and money woahl!....

People once whined that they want item 3123 to return, and it did. Now nobody even bothers buying it, especially going against DrMundo Garen or any fed ADCs.

So forget about bringing SOTD back, as all players will treat it as equally as item 3123 again.

I use item 3033 , I have seen a lot of people using it... It won't be treated like item 3123 , Executioners is a good item still, but it needs to be built into 2 different items instead of just one, same with item 3034

Mundo maybe, But Garen's healing is out of combat, which makes GV kinda a moot point.

People seem to forget that Executioner's calling helps against In combat healing. Not exactly the counter to Wormargs. (or similar effect.) But should be effective against people who require sustain for their survival. (Mundo, a fair amount of Duelists, ADC's with Lots of LS)

Kinda the problem with Mundo, (and a lot of the Juggernauts) is that their Healing scales with HP. Which is why building any HP tends to have high returns. And then, you could only counter the sustain, or the health stacking. But not easily counter both.

They keep removing my cheese swords. MF with SotD got me out of bronze Rengar with SotO got me out of silver This season i'll get out of gold with bork or koggles and they will remove it.
