Just saw a 200MR/3000HP Kha'zix get wrecked by a Katarina without Void Staff

Unfortunately he could not CC her ult as the bug.

He said he picked the fight because Katarina only had Sorcerers Shoes and Haunting Guise as her MPen and he was farmed as fuck. (160CS @ 35 minutes as a jungler and 7/1/8).

Still got wrecked.

But no NA League Boards, let's complain about

Because he goes around wrecking 200 Armor targets without Last Whisper.

Even so, his effective HP is over 8000, even after accounting for the 30 MPen from Liandry's/Sorc's. Even accounting for a double-rotation plus ultimate--1950 +500% AP +495% bonus AD--it's actually impossible to build enough AP for that rotation. And that's trying to kill Kha'zix over 6-10 seconds, depending on how much CDR is involved.

Kha'zix would at least be able to escape, if not kill her. Kha'zix only needs 1000 HP and 150 MR from items, which isn't hard with Spirit Visage/Banshee's Veil, Mercurial Scimitar, Maw of Malmortius and a couple more items of the player's choice.

Moving away from turrets without ward coverage.
Moving around the map without backup from team members.
Not having the dueling potential to individually fight any member of the enemy team on your own under any of the above situations.

gap closer > no gap closer.

350ms > 340ms

assassins have both ms and a gap closer forcing us to fight them, and because they're an assassin they innately can 1v1 better.

"out of position" "you got caught" yup, i agree. but at the same time not every mid laner has the capacity/cc to deal with something thats on your face, we dont all have playful trixter or a targeted cc ability.

More than just mid laners are unable to properly deal with certain assassins, however this is what proper warding and traveling as a group are supposed to cover. There are ways around it beyond bringing more CC.

Isolation usually favors Kha'Zix, however if he stands in Katarina's ult for the full duration instead of jumping away he deserves what he got.

I'd put him more as a duelist. His burst combo isnt that much damage, but his sustained 1v1 damage is insane later in the game. Kah'zix is better a getting a pick on a target out of position, while jax is more frontline in teamrights. Plus Kha'zix isn't supposed to 1v1 Jax. That's not his job. Kha'zix needs to kill the ADC then the APC or vice versa (squishies)

Sure Jax could beat kha and kat in a 1v1 scenario, but that shouldn't happen if ur a smart kat and kha player

Duelists are always at least secondary-tagged Assassins.

The difference between Jax and Kha'zix is that Jax is a primary Fighter, which means he deals more sustained damage than burst. They're still both focused on crippling/killing one target in the fight, but while Kha'zix's kit is built to get in, slap, get out, Jax's kit is built to get in and stay in, then escape at the last second (if he needs to escape).

And I wasn't talking Jax vs Kha, I was speaking in general. Jax is going to pull off 1v1 better than Kha'zix in most cases. Not faster, better.

Ya I see what you are saying and I agree with it, but as far as Jax 1v1 Kha better, I think generally that's the case, but there are some situations where Kha might be better. depends on the champion and situation.

Yeaaah I am not sure as to how Kha'zix lost that without Katarina being quite fed herself. Isolation procs alone would kill her before her ultimate completes. It is possible, however, that her shunpo defensive buff was enough to reduce isolation damage so she might survive.

If he had that much farm and that many kills, he should have been able to one-shot her with Isolated procs before she got all her abilities/ult duration off.

Well... If you are a mage item 3001 works pretty well, it keeps you alive enough for you to bite her back.

item 3157 also works, as long as she starts channeling you go zhonyas and negates her damage.

3k health, 200 mr, and on Kha. Ofc he died. Kha has 0 tank mechanics and he went straight tank. He had no damage and he just absorbed a full ultimate.

OFC HE DIED. Any mage coulda done that. He isn't doing damage.

So no, there is no way a Kha just blew up to a Kat without just sitting there eating her full combo like a dumbass. I can one shot Kat as Kha if she is alone before she can even do a rotation.

What was her full build and his? I feel like we're missing some key information here. If he was that farmed and that's 'all' she had, then he wins that fight unless he chose to use no abilities at all for whatever reason.
