a lot of champions get nerfed because of lcs despite w/r

I have been watching pro play. for about a year. and guess what. this entire year. only one non-support champ was always a meta in pro play. and that is leblanc. also she was never nerfed. actually buffed. (the other one is nidalee but she got nerfed multiple times. or tweaked i can't tell) even reksai elise were kind of not picked all that much during the time where kindred and graves were the popular junglers.. every other champion had a point where they got nerfed and were out for a month or two. but leblanc doesn't seem to get get nerfed despite shes the only assassin that is being played in the mid lane currently? anyone knows why? idk maybe having the safest assassinations but also the most mobility and the highest burst is kind of a great combo on an assassin. or any champion really.

leblanc stats indicate that she dies as much as a back line mage and she kills more than most assassins lmao. i didn't make this up this is actual factual stats. she dies as much as vel koz and kills more than zed. so tilting. she dies the least of any assassin. by least I mean literally. she dies very low in general in the game and pretty much every assassin dies the most on average.

i haven't played against a leblanc in months. but I just liked to share these interesting fun facts.

tldr: riot force pro players to pick other assassins in the mid lane. make leblanc less safe

The biggest problem I have with LeBlanc in the pro scene, is that she's literally a one trick pony. W into range, Q your opponent, ult your opponent, and then tag them with you E, teleporting back to your original position while her tether is in mid flight. Doing a shit load of damage while not presenting yourself as a target.

As for why you don't see her, It's because her counterplay goes down with skill. Her stupidly good slipperiness is locked by her masterful reaction time. (Totally doesn't remind me of a certain blue skin mana mage who was reworked for those exact reasons.)

I literally watched a leblanc 100-0 a ryze at level 4 or 5 in lck few months ago. with just a dorans ring. she falls off the least of any assassin. but she also chunks half your health with her near manaless abilities in lane at level 3. her abilities aren't really all that dodgable. including her chain. you can't really dodge her chain as it is coming you can only try to trick her into missing it since they buffed the missle speed to something ridiculous.

This is because Riot doesn't understand how to nerf they see a lcs player do well with them and they instantly nerf where as in lower elos they can'y even pull of their combos cough cough Azir, Nidalee meanwhile people like Irelia are untouched who are relativly easy and effective to use. Learn your game riot

near manaless. One combo uses half her of her mana pool... Maybe she is only being picked in good matchups by players which perform well on her?

one combo is everything including the ultimate. meanwhile any other mage loses 70-70% of mana with one combo.

Prove it. I played many mages and this is just not true. And her early laning phase depends on hitting the spells she has, which needs a lot of mana. 100 mana for the w on lvl 5 is not much? okay!

I mean Azir is a prime example of this. God-tier in LCS, absolute shit outside of it.

leblanc isn't absolute shit. shes probably. maybe the best assassin in the game right now. because she can kill your carry before you can even exahust her. her damage is instantanerous she has enough point and click to blow up a carry with no counterplay. if kids stopped playing zed and any cool assassin and let people that know how to play them pick them then we get somewhere with the winrate.

her playrate is the 2nd highest in mid lane after ahri . most people can't play assassins not because of they are hard to play but because of decision making which 80% of league players are fucking shit at. she has one of the lower average games played playerbase and that is enough of a reason to explain her lowish winrate. if her good playerbase played her she would be at 5-52% wr.

azir winrate is bad because hes either too strong or too weak on average. hes still strong with a team that peels for him and knows how to play but most team don't outside lcs thus the winrate. also azir is the hardest champion in the game and not everyone knows how to play him. including the level 7 hunderds of hours azir mains. not all. but just because u main a champion doesn't mean your good at them. for example i played jax more than any champion but i can't win games to save my life with him. some champs click on people. i think am best with ekko most likely. and graves. and i got hooked and clicked and got used to them very soon after i started platying them.

I literally said nothing about LB. Why even bring it up?

I was referring to Azir as an example of being nerfed because of LCS despite being absolute shit in terms of WR outside of LCS. He's a very strong champion, but so few players can even do anything even close to good on him that it's practically irrelevant. So he is - basically - a trash pick right now.

She's one of the few assassins in the game that's still professionally competitive. If she was popular in regular play, she would, by default, get nerfed though from the QQ storm. But she isn't very popular and so doesn't.

She does have a reliable kit when played correctly that leads to good kda. KDA doesn't directly win the game though. Some champs like Lux, and yes LeBlanc can easily hide when their stuffs on cooldown and protect their kda. But maybe they dun goofed with their spells and costed the team the game, getting their allies killed.

LeBlanc is a strange one. I know she's good but usually when I see her I just know if she doesn't get very fed she's pretty manageable. She kinda falls off... but not really..?

I think it only feels like she falls off because it is more difficult to assassinate someone in a 5 on 5 fight compared to just roaming bot lane and to other fights on the map. I think that's in general true for assassins as a class
