Or they want to avoid:

-Stealth -Impossible to build against true damage -Extreme mobility -Good early game -Lifesteal build path -Knock back -Stun -All of this on one kit, literally, this bitch I ban just because I don't want to deal with all of the above.

Yorick is so OP -can remove his high mana costs with a single item that gives him massive damage -after only one damage item can build tanky as f*ck and still do tons of damage -infinite sustain -infinite slows -low cds on everything -ranged poke going through minions -deals mixed damage so cant itemize against -ghouls are hard to target causing people to misclick towards you -impossible to hit with skillshots because of ghouls -can create a clone of anyone on the team (can you imagine a clone Kog or Twitch at full build?!?) -nobody plays him so nobody knows how to counter him

Bad comparison, because Yorick is not that bad. Hey, Yorick is OP, that's why they nerfed his stats and some of his damage and never touched him... Vayne was actually buffed recently. Vayne has no waveclear and can't duel the enemy team early without dying from minion aggro. It's not like she has no dmg.

I know hes not bad, but the forums seem to think he is so I felt it was appropriate.

I don't make posts that are biased for the champions I play. It's fine that Vayne counters Garen on a general level, just as it is fine that Garen counters Riven. Though I am admittedly not a fan of how Vayne's stealth can't be pink warded late game.

When I get to ban, I usually ban Master Yi, Yasuo, or someone similar.

Not because I feel they're overpowered, but rather because I don't trust my teammates.

That does make sense, but Vayne hardly fits that category. Unless its a Doublelift smurf, Vayne is going to get wrecked by any semi-competent player. And if they are so bad they lose to Vayne, they would have lost to any other champion anyway.

If I notice Caitlyn and Lucian get banned, I'm going to be suspicious and probably ban Vayne. They might be removing counters to make her a safer pick.

It's the same reason I will instantly ban Nasus if I see Master Yi and Dr. Mundo get banned.

I don't really care about her that much aside from that.

I never thought of it that way. That actually seems like a good strat.

I remember back in the day when the game was more balanced where I would ban all the stuff that counters the champ I wanted to play too.

It's perfectly understandable.

Fed Vayne is probably one of the most difficult to deal with things in the game, and I doubt most people have a ton of faith in random allies to not feed.
