Why do people want longer games?

Last year people were complaining about how long the games are and now it's how short they are????? [zombie-brand-facepalm] I rather just get it over with at 27 than 50. Instead of going back in fourth for 23 more minutes and ending up losing.

Please explain why you would like the games to be longer? Or do you like it how it is?

Because not everyone plays early game champions?

People should be given a choice; to build their comp according to the early game, or the late game. Like, how the fuk I'm supposed to play my late game hypercarry if there is never going to be a late game when games end before 30 min? Should we all start maining Lee Sin or something?

And for real, RITO designed DOMINION specifically for people who liked fast paced games.

I like being able to make it to end game and having a full build so that the playing field is more competitive and it's anyone's game. Sometimes my team will do terrible at the beginning but once it hits 40+ plus minutes, we completely turn it around. that's why i like longer games. well, one of the reasons.

Really? I completely hate longer games like that. Mostly because getting to that point generally means that my team is going to lose, and there isn't anything I can do to stop it.

We like long games because no matter who wins we're happy, we're happy with the game we just played. It feels so accomplishing and makes you feel like a better player for being apart of it.

I like longer games myself. They're generally more competitive and fun to play though. I've never been a fan of being on either side of a stomp, no real value in those games for me.

Rather have a 45minute game where it's a tense battle over every objective; than a curb-stomp for 15 minutes. It's why assassin metas are so hated, not only do they make the game shorter from being able to split-push constantly once ahead; but they also deny you from playing the majority of the game because they instakill you. However if the game lasts long enough then the underdog can catch up, because the winning team will have capped out on items; as well as the potential for the winning team to make a mistake and loose the game. This is significantly more exciting and interesting. I never wanted short games, they're over too quick to be enjoyed and run too fast to feel exciting. Granted I don't want 2 hour games, but when it ends from a 20 minute surrender, or from being swiftly bulldozed it just feels lame & boring.
