Will there ever be new Champions who go with a "less is more" design philosophy?

You look at the newer Champions these days and they have huge levels of complexity, something that I personally find to be a bit of a turnoff. That's why I tend to prefer simpler Champions like Lux, Tryndamere, Leona (she's got some, but not a LOT), or Rammus. They don't require huge amounts of mini-passives or kit specifics to do their job.

Will we ever have a Champion who doesn't have a large amount of mini-effects in their kit, and is both simple to play and easy to master?

Probably not, people used to complain about that kind of thing back in the day funnily enough, how everything was so simple and basic, funny to see things come full circle.

Yeah, well there is such a thing as "Burden of Knowledge", which Riot used to shy away from.

Because people bitched about how things were too samey, too basic, and boring.

Yep. I guess you could say I'm being ironic by doing the opposite.

Nah, you just want something back from the olden times of this game when he game was simpler which is more then fair.

It is like how people remember all their favorite moments from the earlier seasons that made them like it the most and made them forget the plethora of problems that went along with it.

When you have simple kits, you run into the problem where they stat check you all the time, and they can easily fall into feast or famine. Tryndamere is a shining example of why the old simple kits are bad for design - he either wrecks your shit hard, or he's basically an overly large minion. Jax is another one like this, and even supports, like Janna and Blitzcrank, have been problems due to the sheer simplicity of their kits. Granted, there are still simple kits that come out, like Taliyah, Kled, and Camille, but there's always something in there to keep them from being utterly simple and braindead.

More is more, Less is less You don't believe me? 1 will always be smaller than 2 1<2

The Taric rework sort of channels older LOL kits if you ask me, he really boils down to an auto attack fighter that rewards hitting people.
