/Remake Abuse is becoming a problem for me. How about you?

Is Nemesis Draft a fun mode? I wouldn't know. I've queued for it several times, but I've never played more than the first minute or two before /remake happens.

How about normals or ranked? Those, I've gotten to play a few of, but an increasing number of my games are becoming remakes.

Sometimes it appears that a player has dc'd, but that person is often vocal in pre-game chat lobby that they don't like a particular champion selection, ban, summoner spell, or matchup. ("Vocal" as in lots of profanity, insults, etc.) "I'm not facing a Yasuo y didn't u ban Yas noob B.S. I'm afk"

Sometimes I'm in with a pre-made, and I get to watch the /remake negotiation happen. "I'll dc this time so you guys can remake. Next game if we don't get the exact champion select we want then it's your turn to dc."

This is B.S. Even if the penalties are harsher in ranked, people don't seem to care. The remake function is now becoming a dodge. And I'm seeing it more and more every day.

If an unintentional "dc" occurs, and we assume the team with the afk team member ff@20, how much time have I wasted? 2-3 mins queue + 2-3 mins champ select + 1 min loading + 20 mins of game time. Before the remake function was available, how often did that happen? For me, maybe 1 out of 30 games - a generous guesstimation. The ratio is even smaller if you don't count the times a dc'd team member came back, and even if we lost at least we could fight it out.

Now, compare that to the post-/remake amount of time wasted.

10 minutes from Queuing up, champ select, etc. may be less wasted time than a ff@20 on its own, but I've had nearly one out of four games this week ending in a remake. And that's NORMS! Forget Rotating Game Mode - I have played exactly ONE "full" Nemesis Draft out of the FIFTEEN I have queued for. (And that one game ended in a ff@20 because our anivia and bard hated their champion).

I've had several days this week where I've tried to queue and had two or three remakes in a row. Said "screw this, I'll just play something else." Again, that's just norms and ranked.

TL;DR - People are abusing the remake function as a dodge over petty things, and it's far worse in terms of time wasted and enjoyment ruined than actually playing out a 4v5 game. This is bad in norms, ranked, and absolutely horrible in the Rotating Game Mode.

Sound off /boards, I got no idea what to do about this but complain and see if anyone else has this happening to them as well. I don't really want to be another guy who adds to the "PETITION: RITO PLZ..." posts we get a billion times a day but this is the most frustrated I've ever been at LoL in four years. (And I was playing during Patch 4.20Warwick !!!)

It was abused decades before it even came out.

I've only seen. A single remake so far.

who the fuck would take a leave and a dc instead of just dodging. like you just have to have downs to think thats a better way to abuse the system. hmmmm let me take the full 18-21lp loss +leavebuster instead of dodging and taking 3lp + 5 min wait ya the first option seems better. if you get a bad champ select just dodge. why would you take the penalties of a remake in a dynamic q. and now post looking at your match history your just talking out of your ass. youv done nohting but play support in ranked for like a month at this point in your last 20 games. what are you even complaining about.

Okay? Are they that common?

I rarely get remades.

You lucky dude, and you complaining? Do you play on wifi and have you dc'd relatively often enough to be put in lower priority queue?

I've seen 5 remades, tops, since it started. Minimum 4.

Um. The one who triggers the Remake gets busted anyways like a normal AFKer.
